❗️IMPORTANT INFORMATION ❗️
It’s is with a heavy heart and deep sadness but I have decided to not open our doors again. I have many reasons for this decision, the insurance not paying out as much as I thought, the new terms involved with insurance, my mental health and financial loss since November. I will be forever thankful for anyone who has stepped through our doors in our 21 years of trading

Inspector came out today to make a report of what building work need doing, the list was way longer than I thought and the lead times were not what I expected 😟 at this moment all I can update with is that there is up to an 8 week waiting list just to get a date booked in. I can’t give any more details as I just don’t have them at the moment. Disheartened with it all at the moment as no rush and no end date in sight 💔

📣❗️ UPDATE 📣❗️
we no longer have any damp!!!
9th may the inspector will be out to make detailed listings of replacing flooring, walls,ceiling ect, once I have more details will let you all know but you know insurance companies have no worries about rushing things! One step closer to opening them 🚪 and bringing you the ☀️

Buildings contractor came out today, there is still damp in toilet, spraytan room and laydown 6, they have advised 1 week to complete all drying, then on to the next part- new floor screed being done

ASBESTOS IS FINALLY GONE!!!
Next step is to lay a levelling floor screen- I don’t have a date for this as awaiting them to call me but one more step closer to hopefully seeing you all soon!

📣UPDATE!📣 so after days and days of blood,🩸 sweat 💦 and tears 😭 from stripping the salon out we finally have a starting date for the asbestos to be removed! Works will begin 22nd March! Another step in the right direction

Another little update on the salon- today we stripped all the panels off the walls- found some more damp but at least it can help when then drying equipment comes in

Massive progress in the salon today, walls removed, ceiling removed, sunbeds removed, finally feel like the next part can happen. Awaiting appointment date of flooring and asbestos to be removed fingers crossed won’t be long

Sorry I have not posted in a while in regards to the salons progress, my head has been all over the place trying to get things sorted. I still do not currently have a date for the asbestos removal so nothing further can move forward at the moment. It’s taking way longer than I expected but not much I can do about that. Hopefully you all soon ❤️
