✨Cleaning Tip Tuesday✨
Starch spray is often found lurking at the back of cleaning and laundry cupboards. It’s a household staple that has been used for many years
But did you know it actually has some amazing benefits
1️⃣Holds of wrinkles from delicate fabrics
2️⃣Keeps fabric looking newer for longer
3️⃣Gives your clothes a fresher look
4️⃣Protects fabric from stains and acts as a barrier between fabric, dirt and sweat. The dirt will stick to the starch rather than the fabric so makes it easier for stains to come out
You can make your own eco starch spray using a mixture of cornstarch and water
Glass bottle
2 tablespoons cornstarch
50ml of lukewarm tap water
20 ml of boiling water
Your fav essential oil for fragrance

✨Cleaning Tip Tuesday ✨
I literally can’t keep up with the messages I am receiving regarding suncream stains so it has to be this weeks cleaning tip Tuesday
Suncream can be a real pain to get out and the longer you leave it the worse it is going to get. If you are out and about when the stain occurs you are naturally going to wipe the stain with a tissue or a wet wipe but the heat from the sun and perspiration can activate the grease even more making it much worse.
As soon as you can rinse the stain from the reverse under a cold water tap
Sun cream has an oil base so you need something to break that down, so one of your go to products here is white wine vinegar. Cover the stain in the vinegar and leave a good 30 minute to an hour to really allow the vinegar to work.
Another option is eucalyptus oil. Eucalyptus oil is great for oily stains. Just cover the whole stain and leave for around 15 minutes.
