*** Skin testing***

** If you have an upcoming colour appointment with me - please read**

Following recent evidence that Covid-19 can affect people’s sensitivity to colour products and increase an adverse reaction to those who have tested positive for Covid-19, I have decided to ensure that all my clients have a repeat skin-test prior to my return to work on the 12th April. Your safety is a priority to me, and I want to ensure that the possibility of an allergic reaction is kept to a minimum.

As Covid-19 can present with no symptoms, I am choosing to skin test every client, whether you are aware of having the virus or not.
The skin test will also cover the mandatory skin test that is required by my insurance.

As I am not allowed to take part in close contact services until the 12th April, I am in the process of putting a skin test kit that I can deliver to you with full instructions on how to carry out the test yourself. These kits have been approved by my Insurance and this is simple and an easy process to follow.

Skin tests are a legal requirement and needs to be administered no less than 48 hrs prior to your appointment. Failure to complete the test will result in your colour appointment not going ahead.

I will be in touch with everyone individually in due course to discuss further and take details to send or visit to give you your test.
