Sorry I’ve been a little M.I.A lately. I’ve been waiting on an important part for my colour lab, which has finally arrived, and on top of that we’ve all been hit with a horrible cold.

Behind the scenes I’ve still been working hard, completing lots of online training and preparing some exciting new services that will be launching towards the end of June/beginning of July — and I honestly can’t wait to share them with you all.

I’m also still dealing with my son’s appeal process, which I’m hoping will finally be resolved after the 10th June. Once that is sorted, I’ll be able to fully refocus my attention back onto the salon and everything I have planned moving forward.

This has been something completely unexpected and, at times, incredibly difficult to manage alongside family life and running a business, so I just want to say a genuine thank you to everyone who has been patient, understanding and supportive during this time. It truly means more than you know.

Hopefully life stops throwing the curveballs soon — and I’ll be back doing what I love with my full focus and energy again very soon 🤍

My lovely client washed her hair and for reasons unknown the colour faded super quickly. This definitely isn’t something that usually happens and could be down to a variety of reasons — water, products, heat, porosity, medication changes, even environmental factors can all play a part.

So of course I had to get her straight back in my chair 👏✨

This time we made a few tweaks to the formula, using colour theory to reintroduce depth, balance the tones and create a richer, longer-lasting result 🤎🎨 Sometimes hair throws unexpected challenges your way, but knowing how to adjust and work with the hair is what makes all the difference.

Safe to say she left with glossy, dimensional hair again 😍
