Sewing lessons led by a tutor with 45+years experience "A Thing of Beauty Sewing Studio is based at Mamhilad Park Estate. I've been here since August 2021.
During this time I have developed a well stocked haberdashery, that includes a Gutermann stand of threads. My passion is to teach people new skills, mostly dressmaking and also knitting, crochet, patchwork, quilting (EPP) doll and toy making etc. I run small sewing classes to ensure client's gain the most from their sessions. May has been a mixed bag of hand quilting and knitting.
I currently have spaces in regular ongoing classes on Monday and Wednesday evening 6-9 and Wednesday morning 9-12.

My knitting and stitching journey the last couple of weeks has ranged from flannels, blankets, socks and slow stitching. Completing 3,019 hand basted liberty hexies has been wonderful.
Knitting in The Royal Albert Hall and Kensington gardens was the best 🧶🪡🧵✂️along with pub and train knitting in the lovely cities of London and Bath.
