Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men's health, and this Movember I'm joining them. Together we can make a difference for men's health – in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and su***de prevention. Help me stop men dying too young.
November 2022 we lost one of the Bonds family to su***de. None of us saw this coming. The barbershop is a safe space for men to come feel relaxed and get everything off their chest. Lee spent years making his clients feel the best he could but none of us knew how much he was suffering himself inside.
As the first anniversary of his death is coming fast we as a team want to do something positive for mens mental health.
Our aim is to raise as much awareness for mens' mental health as we can and help Movember raise as much money as we can.
Three of our barbershops are partnering with local bars to host a Magnum PI party on the 30th November with cocktails, 80's music, Hawaiian shirts and most importantly loads of well groomed moustaches.
The barbershops will host shave downs on the 1st of November and the 1st of December for everyone to get in the sprit.
The shops and bars involved are Bond's Broadstone partnered with Whittles Wine Bar, Bond's Wareham partnered with the Horse and Groom and Bond's Wi******er partnered with Alfie's bar.
