It's sad that at the end of this week, l will pack my bags and move abroad.
Kinks and Locs to me was not only a business but my therapy. I loved making every single accessory l sold.
The name Kinks and Locs was inspired by my 2 daughters and my journey to start appreciating my natural hair.
This journey has been so worth it.
Thank you for who have followed my journey so far.To all who bought our bonnets, satin doeks, headbands, pillowcases, and shea butter.
Kinks and locs journey isn't over yet. We will announce our new location soon once we settle.
As a parting 🎁 we are running a SALE on our website: www.kinksandlocs.co.za

It's been a minute. We missed you, but life has been hectic . Can't believe it's already winter.
Are you winter ready? Some tips to get you by...
Winter weather can be particularly harsh on hair because the cold air can causes hair to become dry, brittle, and prone to breakage. In addition, indoor heating can also strip moisture from the hair, exacerbating the problem.
One way to protect your hair during the winter months is to use satin products. Satin is a smooth, soft material that can help to reduce friction and breakage that can occur when hair rubs against rougher materials like cotton.
Shea butter is another great product for protecting and nourishing hair during the winter. Shea butter it is a rich, natural moisturiser that can help to hydrate and strengthen the hair, reducing the risk of breakage and damage. You can apply shea butter directly to your hair.
You can wear protective styles like braids, twists, or weaves to minimize the amount of manipulation your hair undergoes.
You can also use a humidifier to add moisture to the air in your home, which can help to prevent your hair from becoming too dry.
Finally, make sure to drink plenty of water and eat a healthy diet, as this can also help to keep your hair healthy and strong.
