So I have just finished my second week as a registered nurse on the haematology ward and I absolutely love it ! Yes it's tough and yes there is a crazy amount to remember and learn but that's just another reason as to why I love what I do!
Today whilst I was doing the drug round I some how managed to Cut two of my knuckles on a glass vial 😂. I made a good job of it too . It's all good though,I won't be making this mistake again! 🤣🤪

Had a fantastic time at the pretty muddy run today . Everyone did amazing and I am so proud to say that as a team we raised nearly £5000 for cancer research!! I'm so happy I took part this year, it was full of emotions but we did it . Well done team Sophie!

Had my first ever day as a staff nurse yesterday 🥳🎉. So much to learn and get to grips with but I loved it ! Got a few more weeks of shadowing so I can learn as much as I can, then it's just little old me lol!
