That’s awful Mike hope gets sorted for bonds as soon as possible. . Us small business are trying so hard to survive and the moment. They should be made to do announcement saying sorry was the bank and not us
⚠️ Important Notice to Customers – Please Share ⚠️
We have recently been made aware of an issue where our Bond Shop in Wareham is appearing on some customers’ bank statements for transactions they did NOT make with us.
After investigating, it appears these transactions were actually made at the Shell garage in Bere Regis, but due to a bank processing issue (involving NatWest), our business name is incorrectly showing on some statements.
We want to make it absolutely clear:
👉 We have NOT taken any payments from customers who have not shopped with us.
👉 This is NOT fraud from our business.
👉 This appears to be a banking merchant description error.
Unfortunately, despite this being reported, the issue is still occurring and it is causing confusion and harm to our small local business.
If you see our shop name on your statement and believe it is incorrect, please contact your bank directly and report it as a merchant description error.
We would really appreciate it if our friends and customers could share this post to the Wareham, Bere Regis, and surrounding community groups to help spread awareness.
Thank you so much for your support ❤️

Help us on world cancer day, to spread awareness and knowledge of this horrible disease. This helps detect cancer, treat it, and try hopefully one day find a cure

Couple of months ago one of Jo’s amazing clients decided after hearing she has myeloma cancer, he wasn’t going to have he’s hair cut till she was better. When Goldie’s hair became very big (as you can see in the photo 😂)and long he decided to shave it off to raise money for myeloma cancer charity. Jo shaved he’s hair off at Lytchett rugby club. Now he has the final total he raised and it was an amazing £1862.00. Thank you so much Goldie for doing this was so lovely of you, and all the people that donated money. This really helps with the research on myeloma cancer

APPEAL | We are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a fatal road traffic collision in Poole.
Dorset Police received a report at 2.12am on Wednesday 7 January 2026 that a man had been found unresponsive in Wimborne Road, near to the junction with Heath Avenue, in Oakdale.
Following further enquiries, it was reported that at around 2.06am the man had been involved in a collision with a vehicle, which had failed to stop at the scene.
Emergency services responded and very sadly the man – aged in his 20s – was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed and are being supported by officers.
Road closures were put in place to allow detailed enquiries to be carried out, including a full examination of the collision scene, and these are likely to remain in place into the afternoon of Wednesday 7 January 2026.
Following extensive enquiries by officers, a 51-year-old man from Bournemouth has been arrested on suspicion of driving offences. He remains in police custody at this time.
Inspector Joe Wheable, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the young man who sadly died at this extremely difficult time.
“We are carrying out a thorough investigation to establish the circumstances of this incident.
“I would urge any witnesses or anyone who may have captured any relevant dashcam footage, or witnessed anything suspicious in the area, to please contact us. I would also ask residents with home CCTV systems in the vicinity to please review their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during the road closures, which are in place to allow us to fully investigate this incident.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online, via email at [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55260002554. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
Due to a serious accident on the Wimborne road where Barber Joe’s is, the road has closed since early hours this morning and won’t be open till later tonight.
We are sorry if anyone was booked in today, we haven’t been able to contact you as we couldn’t get to the shop.
If you’d like to contact us tomorrow and we will re arrange your appointment.
Our thoughts are with the family of the person that was killed in the accident so very sad
