It's pretty apt that SBB turns 7 today.

During the past 7 years I have seen many of you girls walk through my door. You are never 'just a client'. You are my girls.

Aside from literally keeping a roof over my head, we have been through so much together! I have seen you complete your education, reach work goals, go through marriages, have babies, get through divorce, and loss. We've celebrated each other's wins, consoled each other through the rough times and never have we forgotten to laugh along the way. You trust me with far more than your lashes or brows and it doesn't go unnoticed.
I hope each of you know just how bloody special you are! Women need to support women. Always!

Thank you for keeping my little business going and for always being on my team. A special big thanks for your understanding over the last few months when I have had to take time off and all the little things you have done to help me or take care of me. You little diamonds.

Do you take extra care of your lashes in the summer?

We all know I nag regarding aftercare and cleaning those lash extensions, but it is even more important throughout the summer months. Here are a few pointers for you:

• With an increase in temperature comes an increase in humidity. This can lead to the skin's sebaceous glands producing more oil. Sweat, oils and grease sitting on your skin/lashes for extended periods 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 affect your lash retention. 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬!

• Sunscreens and tanning mists are full of oily, greasy ingredients and while you should 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 forfeit your skin health for lashes, they will melt down your face onto your extensions. If you use a spray, apply it to your hands and distribute it onto your face avoiding your immediate lash area. 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬!

• After taking a nice dip in the pool or sea, chemicals and sea salts will sit on your lashes, close your fans and even make them feel crunchy. I always advise giving them a quick rinse with water there and then and when you get back home, give them a good shampoo! 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬!

• Enjoy your sunbathing, BBQ's and bonfires, but don't forget direct heat can affect your lashes. Wear sunnies! Do not get too close to flames and remember, smoke will settle and collect so... 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬!

Ensure you are using a shampoo that has been designed for lash extensions; no baby shampoo, micellar water, or soap!

You may find during the next couple of months that you need to schedule infills a little sooner than usual. Please keep this in mind when booking in advance.

I only block out enough time for the specific service you have asked for. If you feel you will require more than an infill, please let me know before your appointment so I can check I have time, and keep in mind there will be additional cost.
