I really hope that I find you all well ❤️ and I can’t begin to say how much I miss you all 🥺

As you all know, I’ve been really unwell for well over a year now and just wanted to give a little update on where I am at.

It’s been a very, very difficult couple of months and I’ve kept this very quiet whilst I navigated through such an emotional rollercoaster. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer and currently on bed rest recovering from my second surgery. We finally got to the bottom of what was going on with me 💪🏼

It is Thyroid Cancer Awareness Month and I’ve been sharing my story on TikTok since last Monday (day before my second surgery) to help raise awareness of this awful disease. I’m being brave and I’m going to scream it from the rooftops to help others hopefully not go through the same horrendous year+ that I’ve been through.

Can’t put into words how much I miss doing what I was so passionate about and seeing all of your beautiful faces and all the laughs, giggles and good times we had but I hold all of those memories closely in my heart.

As you are all aware, I’ve been seriously unwell for the last year. To say it’s been difficult is an understatement not only physically but emotionally and mentally too. To not be able to get up and go to my second home (well first home really as I spent more time there than I did at home😂) to do what I was so passionate about was soul destroying.

I had to make the very difficult decision to close the salon and had to put my health first. We just financially couldn’t sustain the salon any longer without me being there. I opened the salon to better my children’s lives and I had to close it for them too. Mummy was no good to them if my health had gotten worse.

Thank you so much to every single client that came through our doors over the last 9 years. The friendships, the laughter, the tears and the sillyness 🤪 and all the special memories, I will truly cherish for the rest of my life 🫶 The love and support I’ve been shown over the years is truly overwhelming, especially over the last year with being unwell. Thank you for the loving messages, the cards and gifts, I feel so grateful to have met you all ❤️

Thank you to all staff that has shared this incredible journey with me. What I always called ‘our salon family’ ❤️ This is for all apprentices, stylists, managers, Saturday girls, work experience students from schools and colleges. Thank you for all of your hard work, giggles and fun times and a special thanks for your patience and understanding on the challenging days. I wish you all nothing but happiness and success in your future and may you thrive in this incredible industry that we all love. ❤️

A special thanks to my Mum, Dad, Sister, Brother and Aunty Rachel for all your help over the years. For the love, advice and support you give me, I’m so blessed to have such an incredible family ❤️

To my Jack and kiddies ❤️ You guys have always been my biggest cheerleaders and always pushed me even when I didn’t think I could do it. My darling husband, thank you for believing me and pushing me to achieve my dreams. We really are a dream team and can achieve anything together ❤️

Even though NTC salon doors are closed, it doesn’t mean that this is the end. I’ll keep focusing on my health and take this time to heal, reflect and reenergise and see what the future has in store.

Back in February 2022, driving to my sisters with my kiddies in the car, I accidentally took the wrong turn (easily done for me😅) and turned into Barncroft Way. As I’m driving down the road trying to figure out where I am, I drove pass an empty shop. I immediately turned the car around, pulled up outside, called my hubby and said I’ve just found our 2nd salon 🥰 The universe had worked it’s magic✨

It was never going to be easy opening a 2nd salon during a recession and with a cost of living crisis upon us, I got told by many people that I was crazy and making a big mistake but if you know me well, when I get an idea in my head, I jump straight in with both feet and start working really, really hard to make those dreams a reality.

I started interviewing to build my dream team and boy were they incredible 🤩 It has been a privilege being on this journey with you all and Jack and I are so proud of each and every one of you and truly grateful for all of your hard work❤️

Last June my health took a turn for the worst and being off for the last 6 months has impacted both salons immensely.
It is with a very, heavy heart that I have made the decision to close our Havant salon as Jack and I have been trying our hardest to keep it going but I really need to put my health as a priority now. The salon is now closed and all clients that have an appointment will be contacted and offered to move their appointments to our Paulsgrove salon. We really appreciate your patience and understanding at this difficult time ❤️

We want to thank every single client that has come through our doors and say a very special thank you to Lisa ❤️ Watching you flourish these last 2 years has been beautiful. It’s really hard to find enough words to say how much we appreciate everything you have done and how proud we are of you and thank you for your patience as I know it hasn’t been easy at times. You really are a superstar. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you ❤️
