Montgomery Waters is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of Mineral Waters, Spring Waters and Flavoured Waters, produced from our sites on the Mid Wales, and the Shropshire boarders.
An opportunity has arisen for a Purchase Ledger Clerk/Accounts Assistant/ Administrator to work at Montgomery Waters Ltd in our Head Office in Church Stoke, Powys (10 mile from Newtown & Welshpool) .
The role will involve duties working in our Small Accounts team, with purchase ledger , Data inputting along with some general admin work.
Experience with Sage Line 50 would be an advantage (although training can be given if required) along with good written and verbal communication skills and familiarity with MS Office 365 products - especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
You'd be expected to work individually as well as within the team across all functions on site, demonstrating a "can do" and "flexible" attitude and approach towards the business requirements.
Part-time, full time or job share will be considered. approximately 30-39 hrs per week

Food Production Operators
Montgomery Waters is a leading independent manufacturer of bottled Mineral, Spring and flavoured waters All products are manufactured from our sites in rural Wales and Shropshire. We currently operate a 24-hour shift system, employing eighty staff across three sites.
We are looking to recruit due to our on-going expansion for production operatives to be part of our on-going expansion within the bottling operation at Montgomery Waters, Churchstoke, Powys.
We are building a team who are able to operate high speed packaging machinery and also optimise performance in terms of quality and efficiency. Working as part of this team you will,
β’ Work with a range of machinery (Filling, shrink wrap, palletisers) - training provided
β’ Carry out machine changeover, setting and process optimisation
β’ Can spot problems, trouble shoot and solve effectively
β’ Be responsible for the quality of your own work
β’ Conduct periodical quality checks
β’ Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to
complete operations as needed
β’ Have continuous awareness of quality control and Health and
Safety
β’ Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping
β’ Manual Handling
The Idea candidate will:
β’ Preferably have some experience in a manufacturing
environment although training will be given.
β’ Ability to work in a fast pace and high pressure environment
with production targets
β’ Be a strong team player with keen eye for detail
β’ Observe and Maintain Health & Safety standards within the
business
β’ Good time keeping and flexibility
Our modern packaging machines are highly sophisticated and requires a good level of mechanical/electrical awareness and appreciation, computer literacy and the ability to assimilate information quickly. We operate our latest high speed line in excess of 30,000 bottles per hour which means we need the right people to ensure efficient/effective running.
Hours of Work: Working on a rotating two shift pattern. First shift 06.00am to 14:15pm. Second shift 14.00hrs to 22:15pm Monday to Friday. In busier periods this could change, and so flexibility will be required.
Salary: Β£9.50ph plus 12.5% shift allowance
