Many women assume that when their skin becomes dry, sensitive or dull, they simply need a new product.
And whilst skincare is important, it is only one piece of the puzzle.
During perimenopause, fluctuating hormone levels can affect hydration, collagen production and the skin barrier.
This means your skin may suddenly behave differently, even if you’ve used the same products for years.
Understanding why your skin is changing can be just as important as knowing what products to use.
When we understand the whole picture, everything starts to make more sense.

You may have joined me recently, so I thought it was time to properly introduce myself 🤍
I’m Emily skin and wellbeing expert, menopause coach, therapist of 20+ years, and someone deeply passionate about helping women feel good in themselves again.
What happens in my treatment room goes far beyond skincare.
The conversations, the confidence rebuilding, the education, the support, the “I finally feel like myself again” moments… that’s the part that means the most to me.
My work has evolved so much over the years because women need more than quick fixes.
They need support, understanding and Someone who truly listens.
And that’s exactly what I aim to create here ✨
Whether you’re here for skin advice, menopause education, wellbeing support, or just quietly following along thank you for being here.
I’d love to know…How did you find my page?
If your skin suddenly feels like it’s “reacting to everything”… this is usually why.
Your skin isn’t randomly changing.
In perimenopause, one of the first things I see in the treatment room is a compromised skin barrier.
This means your skin becomes more sensitive, more reactive, and less able to tolerate products it once had no issue with.
And the instinct is usually to do more
More products
More actives
More trying to “fix” it
But in reality, the skin is asking for the opposite.
Less pressure.
More support.
Because as oestrogen declines, the lipids that help keep your barrier strong naturally reduce too.
So the skin is left more exposed and less protected.
This is why I always start here in clinic.
Because until the barrier is stable, everything else is just working against the skin.
If your skin feels unsettled or reactive right now, this is exactly what I assess in consultation so we can rebuild strength first, then layer in the right treatment plan

The best results in skin and wellbeing don’t come from one appointment.
They come from consistency, trust and a shared commitment to the journey.
I’ve worked with so many women over the years and one thing always stands out…
When a client feels supported, understood and ready to commit to themselves, everything changes.
Their skin responds differently.
Their confidence grows.
And the results last so much longer.
I’m so grateful for every client who chooses to trust me with their skin and wellbeing. It never goes unnoticed 🤍
