𝑀𝑜𝑟𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 ☀️- 𝑤𝑒𝑑𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑢𝑝𝑑𝑎𝑡𝑒！

So with just 16 days left to go I still have so much to do and the next 2 weeks for me are just completely booked with either wedding diy or something to make those bags disappear, my hair better or my nails fresh!

I won’t lie, I’m feeling completely overwhelmed, I’m so thankful for the help I’ve had so far from friends and my mum. Whether it be a phone call checking in or actually coming to physically help me put things together.

I will share the things I have made, the decs, everything after the wedding as I want to keep it a surprise for my guests but as I had a few messages asking me to share how/what I did I have made some videos so hopefully it will help someone out there!

I picked up my wedding dress yesterday so she’s now home and it’s crazy to think the next time I wear her will be the last 🥺

𝑂𝑁𝐸 𝑀𝑂𝑁𝑇𝐻!! 💍💒👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️

How time has flown since the 2nd picture, how we planned a wedding in 9 months and got EVERYTHING we wanted and honestly it’s been so fun.
I had another dress fitting today and every time I step into that dress I feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt.

Still a few bits to do but this week we kiss goodbye to our wedding savings as it’s time to pay everyone off!

Mrs Howells countdown is right around the corner!

I seriously cannot wait ❤️

And just like that, 2 years have gone by. The craziest, funniest and most incredible 2 years of my life.

My little boy, you have no idea just how much joy you have brought into this world when you arrived, how many lives you have touched, how much happiness you bring and just how incredible you are.

We are so lucky we got to spend the whole day doing everything you love, took a bus to town, got your favourite cookie, chose a toy from the toy shop and then went for dinner with both sets of grandparents ❤️

𝐻𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑦 𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑦 𝑑𝑎𝑦!

First day back at childminders
First full working day back at the business
First time I’ve been ready this early in weeks!

There will probably be a lot of firsts today, new jobs, new nurseries, new journeys and I just wanted to say a massive good luck!

This year will be what we make it ❤️

Well that’s it for another year! All the build up, the wrapping, all worth it to see the magic in our little ones faces.

Finally able to spend Christmas with all our family with Tommy this year was completely incredible and I am well and truly knackered!

I’m so happy (and shocked) it’s December already! Does anyone else just feel like Halloween was last weekend? Did November even happen? 🤪

I’m so loving seeing peoples trees up, advent calendars out and just getting into the Christmas spirit now!

𝐺𝑒𝑡𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 🤍

Earlier in the year I was so big on self love and self care, I was in such a great place mentally.
I fell off for a while though, but I’m dusting myself off and getting back on.
One thing I really loved when joining the is the community, the support and the friendships that came with it. And whilst I never “stopped” I just took some time. But I’ve missed it and it is a team I love being a part of

Another thing is my weight loss/being healthier luckily I didn’t actually put on any weight but I have slipped back into old habits and even though I joined a gym to try force myself, I wasn’t in the right head space.

And lastly…. I have booked a frickin’ holiday!!! ❤️
Gosh that feels so good to say. I am never usually in England for longer than maybe 4 months at a time without going somewhere to get away and not being able to do that for the last 3 years (pregnancy then lockdown) has actually taken a huge toll on me.

In the last month I’ve noticed Tommy interested in small things,
Flowers
Ants
Bees
Butterflies
Spiders

He’s so interested! Just now to teach him to not squish them 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

What do your little ones do when they see bugs and flowers?

𝑇𝑜𝑑𝑑𝑙𝑒𝑟𝑠 & 𝐶ℎ𝑜𝑖𝑐𝑒𝑠 - 𝑓𝑎𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑎𝑑𝑑𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛

Giving your child choices in things they do & wear is actually a really important for their understanding and growing!

Now I’m not going to lie, I don’t always have the patience to let him choose every single thing he wears because sometimes he wants one of each shoe 🤦🏼‍♀️
But shoes is a really good place to start. That way, you still have some control but letting them take control too. Start with just 2 pairs.
“What shoes would you like to wear?”
Today I had the crocs and sandals as a choice but as you can see, he ran over to his wellies but I rolled with it and he rocked it 😂

When he gets a little older and his understanding gets better he will have more choices. I don’t want to overwhelm him.

So next time you see a child in a random outfit that looks like they got dressed in the dark. It’s probably because they chose it themselves 🤍

All of these ideas will not just help save the planet, but some will help save your pockets in the long run too!

1. Cotton buds/ear buds. I got mine from Etsy. Super easy to clean & really efficient
2. Makeup removing pads. Loads of places sell these now but I get mine off trusty Amazon!
3. Baby wipes. Again sooooo many people sell these now but to do it cheap, Amazon is your bestie is the brand I use)
4. Nappies! Now this can be a bigger initial cost BUT could save you £1500 a year! Our favs are by far
5. Wooden toys over plastic
6. Reduce your waste by using a food waste bin and recycle all you can
7. Deodorant! I recently switched to deodorant and it’s so much better for your skin too
8. Soap bars instead of bottles
9. Shampoo & conditioner bars
10. Choosing the eco brands in super markets such as eco saver rather than fairy liquid!

I hope these small changes will help you make a big difference! (All brands mentioned are what I personally use and reccomend)
