Sometimes, it's not about starting over—it's about refining what's already there. ✨

My client came to me after having her brows microbladed elsewhere. The previous work had a much more blocky appearance, and she was hoping for something softer and more natural.

Using my technique, I carefully added individual hair strokes over her existing work to create more texture, definition, and a more realistic finish while working with what was already there.

Every set of brows is unique, and corrective work always has its own challenges, but I'm really pleased with how these turned out. What do you think? 💛

💜 CREATE CHANGE WITH CREATIONS SALON 💜

This idea started with a conversation.

One of our lovely clients shared the story of her daughter, who experienced a cryptic pregnancy and unexpectedly became a new mum with very little support or essential items for her baby.

It got me thinking.

I remembered becoming a mum myself and developing mastitis shortly after giving birth. It was a difficult and overwhelming time, but I was fortunate enough to have the products and support I needed. Not everyone is that lucky.

As women, we've all had moments when we've needed certain products and couldn't imagine managing without them. Then, while I was relaxing in the bath one evening, I started thinking about how many of us have unopened nappies, baby toiletries, hygiene products, shampoos, conditioners, sanitary products, and gifted items sitting in cupboards that we'll never use.

Those items could make a huge difference to someone else.

So let's do something together.

At Creations Salon, we're launching a Community Hygiene, Beauty, Mother & Baby Drive to support women, new mums, families, neonatal wards, and those facing hygiene poverty in our local community.

We're collecting:
🧴 Hair care products
🧼 Body care products
💄 Unopened skincare and makeup
🪥 Hygiene essentials
🩷 Sanitary products
🍼 Mother & baby items including nappies, wipes, baby toiletries, bottles, bibs, creams and more

We can only accept brand-new, sealed, and unopened items.

If you'd prefer to help through a cash donation, please speak to our salon team. Every penny donated will go towards purchasing essential products for those who need them most.

As a small thank you, anyone who donates 3 or more items will receive 50 BONUS loyalty points on our salon system to put towards a future relaxing treatment.

One of the reasons I love my job is that I get to help people feel good. Seeing someone leave the salon feeling relaxed, confident, and cared for makes me happy.

If I'm honest, I really thought that if we were nominated for anything, it would have been for New Business, so this has come as such a wonderful surprise!

This recognition isn't just about me—it's about the incredible team we have behind us. To our amazing therapists and hairdressers, thank you for your hard work, passion, and dedication every single day.

Most of all, thank you to this wonderful community that supports us. What we've built feels so much more than a business; it feels like family, and we're incredibly grateful to be part of it.

This nomination means even more to me because it reflects a journey that has spanned over 11 years in the beauty and spa industry.

I've been fortunate enough to work in spas, manage spa teams, work onboard cruise ships, become an Elemis Trainer Ambassador, lead teams with Oriflame, and support friends in growing their own salons and businesses. Every experience has taught me something valuable and shaped the therapist and leader I am today.

Most importantly, it has allowed me to help bring my mum's vision and creation to life, something I am incredibly proud to be part of.

Many people know that I've been facing an injury which has made treatment work increasingly difficult. I've often joked that my body would retire before I was mentally prepared for it, but the reality has been much harder than I ever imagined. There have been moments of frustration and uncertainty, but I've been determined not to let it define me.

Opening The Beauty Room has helped me realise that while I may not always be able to work in the same way I once did, I can still make a difference. Building an incredible team and taking a step back from some of the physical demands has allowed me to focus on encouraging, mentoring and supporting the next generation of therapists entering this wonderful industry.

This shortlist isn't just recognition of where we are today; it's recognition of the journey, the challenges, the resilience, and the amazing people who have supported us every step of the way.
