I’ve seen so many pictures uploaded recently where people look perfectly airbrushed, enhanced and frankly nothing like themselves 🥲
-
It’s wild what can be done by a few clicks of a button and some effects are so subtle it can be hard to tell if anything’s been done at all 🤦🏽‍♀️

It’s incredibly damaging to your self worth and body image. Once you get used to seeing yourself in a certain way in pictures you won’t be able to cope with the reflection you see in the mirror, you’ll be hating and un-tagging yourself from the candid shots your friends capture where your smile lines show or your sat at an angle that makes your belly rolls show; but that’s NORMAL, that’s real life 🤷🏽‍♀️.

These apps perpetuate the need to spend your precious time, money and life chasing a you that will never exist and so many or your favourite celebrities and influencers are tampering with pictures you then come to adore and wish you looked like. It’s fu***ng rank tbh 🤢

Spend your time working on you and the things you can change to improve the relationship you have with yourself. Get a good skin care routine, stop abusing your body and nourish it instead, chase new skills and hobbies to fill your cup with positive things you do for yourself. Make who you are so much more interesting than what you look like 👍🏽

Stop apologising for not wearing make up, having messy hair, not shaving your pits, it’s really no big deal. When my clients come to my gym; they come as they are and that’s fine with me and I wish women felt safe enough in all circumstances to show up just as they are and be OK with it.

Loads of people do/will love you being just as you are but you need to love you the most, first and always ❤️

week 2 has been much easier on my body, weight has dropped from 70.1 to 67.1kg 👏🏽

I think the amount of inflammation I had was the reason I was up in weight. I don’t mean to be a moaner but HONESTLY I was in so much pain and exhausted during week 1, I wasn’t sure if I could really do another 5 days in the gym 😂 (PT or not it was hard for me 😩)
-
We kept moving and stuck to the plan though and things have levelled out now 😅
-
Goals for next week are to get all 5 sessions of cardio in as this week I’ll have managed 4 by Sunday.
-
I’ve got a course all day tomorrow and my nephews birthday dinner on the evening so food choices isn’t going to be a priority (i’m not gonna pretend I’ll have a salad because we all know I’d be lying 🤥)

Sometimes it can be hard to hold yourself accountable and make sure you really are doing all you can to reach your goals. You may FEEL like you are getting s**t done but your not seeing the results and a lot of the time it’s because we are doing the bare minimum in order to say ‘yeah I did it’ knowing full well you could have pushed that little bit more 😉

If your struggling to see where you could do better or wondering why some days of the month it’s easier to stay on track and train and other days it’s hard as hell then maybe this tracker would be beneficial to you. ☺️

This weekly tracker has all your important bits included:
• steps 👣
• water intake 💦
• calories 🍏
• exercise 🏋🏽‍♀️
• protein intake 🧀
• cycle day 🩸

if you know where your supposed to be with these elements then it’s just the case of getting them done and each week trying to improve; and with the extra of recognising where you are in your cycle you’ll hopefully become more familiar with days of the month your likely to eat more or want to move less and once you know that’s just apart of your cycle you can make up of it on the days that follow 👏🏽

Tidy up time 🧹

Time to get a little definition back so I’m taking on a little challenge to tidy things up!

I’m very happy and content with how I look but I do need to move more and create some time for me in the schedule 😌

Also, I pulled out a bag of summer clothes that I bought the last time I went on holiday (when I was very lean) which are little more snuggly than I’d like and I refuse to buy more clothes 😂
