Platitudes - Synthetic Crocheted Dreadlock Extensions in North Yorkshire

Refit of Sarah’s dreadlocks from a few weeks back. We started out with dark brown and a few pops of red and we’ve slowly added in extra colours each refit to make this amazing rainbow set 🌈

The next refit is the big one as we’re adding one of my rainbow hair wraps to finish the look. And it’s going to be WEDDING HAIR 🎉 exciting!!

I even made a Christmas hair wrap to match. We took out the purple dreads from her last Halloween set and changed them for red 💚

Refit of these chunky knotty locs for Maria last week. We added two fairy hair wraps & two braids to brighten her set up a bit 🤌🏻

➡️ I can get hold of these knotty locs in shade 613 blonde, 350 auburn brown, brown, black and black dip dye into auburns/blondes

➡️ They’re so lightweight and bouncy, no need to wear them in for them to soften up as they’re already super soft and springy 🤩 these are cheaper than my normal dreadlocks as I buy them in part made and I only spend a few hours to tweak them how I like so much less work goes into them than my usual crochet locs.

Love space buns with dreads 👽 ..we decorated Maria’s dreadlocks in extra thick chunky wool to add some colour into the set, and she ofc had to buy the two rainbow scrunchies I had to add to the rainbow theme 🌈

Refit these black into pink and purple ombré synthetics for Alex yesterday 🩷 these are a few years old and still look as fab as day one💥 ..also how cute are the little pink into blue twists we added to the tails!! Message for enquiries or to book ✍🏻

The most exciting set I’ve made and installed this year 🎃 big Halloween vibes 🕸️⇢ we went for a mixture of black, purple and neon green with the ends left loose & added some braids for extra texture. For decoration I criss cross braided contrasting colour hair around some of the dreadlocks & I custom-made a Halloween dread wrap made with an assortment of different sari silks and yarns to match the set. ⇢these hair wraps can be installed alongside your dreadlock set (like I style them in the pictures) but they can also be braided in your natural hair so you don’t need dreadlocks to wear these!!!
