Week 8 of our initial 10 week programme at Fairlop in the bag and a couple of new faces to Tuesday Night Football! Great session, some really good football, teamwork and communication with talking on and off the pitch!

The whole aim of what we do is to create spaces for men to talk and just because your over 50 don’t mean you don’t need to talk yesterday we had a group of lads that came together to play and talk

Our Player Focus series shines a light on the people behind the football – why they joined TALK FC, what they get from attending, and what being part of our community means to them.
Everyone joins for their own reason, but one thing connects us all: the friendships, support and sense of belonging we’ve found along the way.

For our second player focus story, we’re proud to introduce the all round good guy Connor. Connor is a great help in running sessions when the management team are a bit stretched and is just a beacon of fun, good humour and positivity.

Tuesday nights are all about Football at Fairlop!
Despite it being a warm one and the holiday season upon us, we still had a brilliant kick about and 5-a-side fun game. Great to see some regular faces, the return of Celestine and a debut from Grant.

The check in that followed the football was excellent, some real honest conversations with lads supporting each other which continues to show that if you give men the space, the opportunity and the confidence to speak, they WILL.
