One of my favourite treatments 😍

In 90% of the patients with severe acne, atrophic or hypertrophic scars are formed. The microneedling technique is currently the most common treatment for post-acne scars for its efficacy, versatility and because it is minimally invasive. The treatment uses needles that perforate the skin to the dermal-epidermal junction, stimulating collagen synthesis and carrying active ingredients. Transepidermal vehiculation of c.prof 223 skinmark solution was shown to be a highly effective treatment for the correction of atrophic post-acne scars. It contains polynucleotides, organic silicon, Chlorella vulgaris extract and darutoside. The treatment consisted of the application of c.prof 223 skinmark solution using the microneedling technique with the device m.pen[pro] in 6 sessions performed every 15 days and a final control at 15 days. The efficacy results were evaluated by using polarised image of the VISIA Facial Analyser and ultrasounds (Toshiba Xario 200 18 Mhz multifrequency linear probe). In 100% of the cases the reduction of scar depth was classified as much better.
