MONTHLY MISSED MOMENTS
time creeps up, moments fly by, and then suddenly I realised I haven’t shared any monthly drops for quite some time.
Maybe it’s because four months ago we opened our hearts and home to a rescue puppy. Maybe it’s been the holidays, social adventures, and making memories along the way.
Now I’m back in Spain with my family for our second trip here this year, sitting in the sunshine and feeling incredibly grateful for this life I get to live and for all of you who are part of it.

Sometimes great hair takes a little patience and a lot of care
If we send you home with a care package before your colour appointment, please don’t be disheartened. Healthy hair will always be our priority.
This lovely client came in for a consultation and, at first, colouring her hair wasn’t an option. After following a tailored home care plan and putting in the hard work, she returned with her hair in a much better condition.
That gave us the perfect foundation to work our magic and create a beautiful result while keeping the integrity of her hair intact. 🙌

Sometimes all a girl needs is a Mohawk section to bring her back to life
My salon sidekick needed a little colour revival, so we went in with a Mohawk section and an intense face-framing pattern to give her the lift she was craving
Proof that coming into work early is sometimes SO worth it… and of course Wella understood the assignment giving all the vibes 🙌

never get bored of moments like this
The feeling of drying off a colour you’ve created, seeing the progression in your work and knowing your skill set keeps evolving… it never gets old.
Staying inspired, staying educated and constantly pushing myself creatively is one of my favourite parts of this industry.

Firstly… welcome me to the glasses club 🤓
Apparently my 42-year-old eyes need a little help now — and honestly? I’m here for it. Always wanted glasses anyway, so I’m fully embracing it ✨
1️⃣ Education
Back in the day it was colour charts, point and pick. We didn’t know any different.
2️⃣ Specialists
Now everyone has a niche. Before? You had to be good at EVERYTHING.
3️⃣ Community
There used to be a lot of gatekeeping. If you knew a technique, it stayed in the salon. Now we share, teach and grow together.
4️⃣ Techniques
Highlighting caps… and I was FAST with that hook 😂
5️⃣ Science
The evolution is unreal. Brands are constantly pushing boundaries and raising the standard.
6️⃣ Social media
From waiting for clients to walk in… to showing up, filming, editing and putting yourself out there daily.
7️⃣ Opportunities
So many more paths now — education, brand work, content, travel.
8️⃣ Systems
Client cards, pens, scribbles… gone. Everything’s digital now.
9️⃣ Cost
This one’s real. Everything has gone up — time, product, expectations full head foils did take 45 mins now takes 1.5 hours.
🔟 Flexibility
Double booking used to be the norm. Now we have the choice — one-on-one or column working. It’s about how YOU want to work.
This industry has changed so much… and honestly, I love seeing it evolve
