Last week I was at an event when two lovely ladies stopped me to compliment me on my skin.

We chatted for a few minutes and I said, “Thank you, I’m actually a skin therapist.”

One of them smiled and said, “Well, no wonder you have good skin it’s because you have access to all the best products and treatments.”

I laughed and said, “Yes… but do you know what? So do you.”

That is exactly why I do what I do.

At the beginning of the year, one of my lovely clients made a promise to herself.

She was finally going to make time for herself.

She was going to look after her skin. She was going to have a little time to switch off. She was going to stop putting everyone else first.

Then life happened.

Weeks turned into months, and before she knew it, we were halfway through the year.

This week, she finally walked through our door.

It’s something I hear so often.

Here at Cloud Beauty in Uppermill, it really is one of my favourite skin treatments, and when it’s the right treatment for the right person, the results can be fantastic.

But here’s something that’s even more important…

I don’t believe Microneedling is right for everyone.

Your skin is unique, which means your treatment plan should be too. If I genuinely believe another skin treatment would give you better results, that’s exactly what I’ll recommend. And if I don’t think Microneedling is the right choice for you, I’ll always be honest.

I’ve spent years investing in my education, professional training and developing my knowledge of skin, alongside years of hands-on experience treating clients. That knowledge means I don’t just perform treatments, I choose the treatment that’s most appropriate for you.

For me, it’s never about following trends or recommending the most expensive option. It’s about helping you achieve healthy, confident skin with treatments that are safe, effective and tailored to your individual needs.

Five years ago today, we opened the doors to Cloud Beauty and welcomed our very first clients.

If someone had told us then what the next five years would hold, we probably would not have believed them.

We have laughed, learned, grown, adapted and celebrated so many milestones together. We have had the privilege of helping clients prepare for weddings, engagements, proms, birthdays, holidays, baby showers, anniversaries and so many other special occasions. We have supported healthy skin journeys, created beautiful nails, brows, lashes and spray tans, and most importantly, we have built relationships with the most amazing clients.

Along the way, we have been incredibly proud to receive a number of industry awards and recognitions. Every one of them means the world to us, but nothing compares to the trust and loyalty you have shown us over the last five years.

From just the two of us to the incredible team we have today, we couldn’t be prouder of what Cloud Beauty has become.
