It all has to start from somewhere..

This lovely lady has began her calgel journey as she is determined to kick her nail biting habit and wants to give her nails the tlc they truly deserve.

So we’ve given them a good old tidy up, pushed back the cuticles and applied an overlay to help protect them.

Keep up with that cuticle oil and you’ll start to see those nails flourish very soon.

It was all going Green with Envy with this gorgeous colour from Calgel. 💚

Curious Ivy was the colour choice for this lovely new client who wanted to treat herself and of course her nails to give them some added strength to help them grow and flourish!

Sometimes green can be a colour choice that most people often skip off the colour chart.

Purely for the fact they don’t know which green would suit their skin tone. 🤔

To help you find out which skin tone you are then follow this simple check of your veins…

In natural light, check the appearance of your veins beneath your skin.

1. If your veins appear blue or purple, you have a cool skin tone.
2. If your veins look green or a greenish blue, you have a warm skin tone.
3. If you can't tell whether or not your veins are green or blue, you probably have a neutral skin tone.

So if you’re a warm skin tone, then greens most suited to you are commonly called names like olive, khaki, chartreuse, lime, pistachio etc.

Then a cooler skin tone can suit the more cool greens which are often called names like forest, emerald, bottle green, seafoam etc.

But I Bite My Nails…

This is something I come across a lot when ladies enquire about CALGEL. My nails are too short or I bite them, can I still have gel applied?

Pretty in Purple! A rare treat for this lovely client yesterday.

I had forgotten how beautiful this colour was!

It’s Angel Falls by Calgel and the added sparkle I used was Lila from Magpie Glitter.

It isn’t Christmas without some festive reds!

Forgot the before picture again but these short beauties were a little bitten but have been brought back to life with the magic of Calgel Extensions!
