I don’t know whether to be proud or disgusted at my very own gunkie from my first ever hydrafacial today… 🤣🙈

LIP SCARRING & LIP FILLER — CAN YOU STILL HAVE TREATMENT? 👄
Short answer? In many cases… yes.
Having scarring on your top lip (from injury, cold sores, previous treatments, etc.) does not automatically mean you can’t have lip filler.
But it DOES mean your injector needs to understand scar tissue.
Here’s why 👇
Scar tissue:
• Is firmer and less flexible
• Can hold filler differently
• May affect symmetry
• Sometimes requires a more advanced technique
With the right assessment and approach, filler can:
✨ Improve balance
✨ Restore lost structure
✨ Soften uneven areas
✨ Enhance overall shape
Every lip is different — especially when scar tissue is involved. That’s why a full consultation is essential before treatment.
