An educational reminder about Toxin injections.

Facial freezing is not the desired outcome & no movement at all for 3 - 4 months is simply not how Toxin works.

We always educate our patients in clinic at our consultations, but appreciate sometimes it is information that can be forgotten.

I have also heard alot from new patients to the clinic that they in some instances were not told by their previous injectors and have had the perception "it hasn't worked" or "it wore off" as they were led to believe it was a one off kind of treatment ( which nothing non surgical is, it all comes with up keep) which with Toxin is ideally 3 to 4 monthly. It can not be given more often than this.

Toxin can help to reduce muscle activity to a certain level (this is your personal level, and cannot be compared to your friends result). Adding more and more Toxin at a review will not influence the longevity.

Your own outcome can depend on external factors like age/skin quality/metabolism/medication/muscle activity strength and muscle memory, whether you smoke etc.
