Sheffield born Jodie Whitehead has been in the beauty industry for almost 20 years. Starting her career as a make-up artist, working freelance and having her work published in the UK and internationally.

It was during this time she developed a keen interest in the beauty industry, specifically nails and lashes. It was from here she embarked on her journey. For many years she was predominantly self taught and managed to refine her skills through extensive research and hours of practice. She then went onto train with the industries leading brands and very quickly achieved her lash and nail MASTER status. It was only a matter of time before she was recognised for her outstanding skills and nominated for enhancement specialist of the year.

Natural progression was to open her salon Beau Boutique, offering tailored treatments using only the very best premium products available, this combined with a highly skilled craftsmanship, it was destined for success. The vision was to create a custom made services that enhanced natural beauty, perfect and accentuate looks with precision and immaculate attention to detail. But she couldn’t do it all single handed and began expanding her team of professionals, investing her time heavily in training them to a high standard her clients had come to expect. Her passion was infectious and she is an inspiration to those that work with her.

Her academy opened it’s doors in 2016, THE SHEFFIELD BEAUTY ACADEMY was put on the map. Its here she shares her passion, skills and knowledge. Its very clear to see that she loves what she does which makes her a fantastic role model for her students.
