This is not a pre halloween post 🤣 but rather the look on someone’s face when they swell post treatment😬 dermal fillers and some other treatments can cause swelling, it’s actually very normal. Some people swell more than others. It’s very individual. Some of my newest treatments have the potential to cause more swelling but the swelling settles pretty quick and the left over results are worth it. There are sometimes occasions where swelling is excessive. This doesn’t mean the treatment has failed or been injected wrong but the important thing to know is we can manage these side effects well. There are certain medications that can be given to help the swelling. Antihistamines help initially and if they don’t help we can introduce steroids. Failing that we are able to dissolve filler well. Speak to your practitioner before treatments about the possible side effects and how they will manage complications. But to clarify swelling is a common side effect. Always liaise with the practitioner or clinic where you received your treatment. 😘

Lips 👄 this gorgeous lady already had nice full lips but with dermal filler we can enhance that shape and volume and create fuller yet natural looking lip. Lips are my favourite treatment at the minute. With there are minimal lumps and it’s easy to inject.

LIP TWEAK 🫦
Lips don’t have to look too ‘done’ they can be full but maintain their natural shape and appearance. In my experience it’s not how much you inject but how you inject. There are several ways to treat lips. I prefer lip tenting as the filler tends to stay in the lip avoiding the ‘trout pout’ look where filler migrates above the lip.

Subtle jawline redefinition. Dermal filler is injected in to the jawline to elongate and define. This lady already has a good jawline but this treatment just highlights it.
