Key Facts ❕❕
Here’s what actually matters:
• Know your curl type (waves, curls, coils) — it helps you choose the right products
• Curly cuts > regular cuts — shaping your hair dry = better definition + volume
• Hydration is everything, curls thrive on moisture, dryness = frizz
• Texture is unique — no two curl patterns are the same, work with yours, not against it
Healthy curls = hydrated curls 💧
Hair therapy hits different….. 💆🏻♀️💇🏻♀️
Working with Curly hair as long as we have, it has taught us this -
It’s not about using more products, it’s about using the right ones.
Hydration first. Ingredients matter. Technique matters.
Because curls deserve care, not control… well a little 😉

Inspo vs reality, done the curly way ✨
My client came in very light blonde with an inspiration photo she loved.
We darkened her hair back closer to her natural base, while still keeping blonde highlights — just a softer, deeper version that works with her curls.
I chose balayage for this transformation to give her:
▫️ longevity
▫️ softer regrowth
▫️ dimension that enhances curl pattern
Finished with our own curl product range to keep the curls hydrated, defined, and healthy 🤍

Dry curls aren’t just missing oil, they’re missing water 💦
From loose waves to tight coils, hydration improves elasticity, while products help seal that hydration in ➿

Key fact ‼️ You can maintain length and add shape!
For this cut, we used internal layers and a soft face frame to create movement and volume while preserving this lovely client’s length.
Finished with curl-enhancing products and a diffusing technique that boosts bounce and definition 🌀
🌀 Internal layers = volume + movement
🌀 -enhancing products + diffusing = bounce + definition
“What’s the difference between a Curly Cut and a Regular Cut?”
A Curly Cut is all about your natural texture! We cut your curls dry so we can see their true shape, giving you a custom cut that enhances your curl pattern and volume.
A Regular Cut, on the other hand, is typically done on wet, straight, or blown-out hair. It’s ideal for straight or slightly wavy textures (if worn straight) but can cause uneven results on curls since they shrink and spring differently once dry
HOW TO GET VOLUME WITHOUT LOSING LENGTH 🌀
You don’t have to choose between big hair and long curls, it’s all about understanding shape, product weight, and root direction.
🌀 Volume comes from structure and balance, not shorter hair.
By removing bulk instead of length, and working with the curl pattern, you create shape, lift, and movement, while keeping every inch possible.
🌀 Volume isn’t created with product, it’s created with shape.
Start diffusing upside down or sideways on low heat / low speed.
• Focus airflow at the roots first, then hover diffuse the ends.
• Avoid touching until 80-90% dry. Movement too early = frizz + shrinkage.
