Your treatment begins with gentle dry body brushing to awaken the senses and stimulate the lymphatic system, followed by a drizzling of hot oil and deeply relaxing massage to release tension. A revitalising citrus body polish is then applied to the back and removed with warm essential oil mitts. The experience is completed with a soothing chest and décolleté massage, leaving you feeling relaxed, radiant, and beautifully restored. We are your escape🫶

6 Months ago reached out to ask if we would like to be featured in the March/April 2026 addition.🤭 Initially I thought it was a con 😅so apart from a brief passing comment doing some washing to Sarah a few months after…..I didn’t say anything. Turns out it wasn’t!🤩 I had the amazing opportunity to write a short piece about the business. And without any hesitation I knew I wanted to write about the talented, incredible ladies I have the chance to call my work family. Yes we offer a wide range of treatments, and of course a beautiful new premises to work in. But truth be known, the spa 493s whole ethos throughout the 11 years is truly down to the team. We wouldn’t function without every single one of them. There behind the scenes input daily is vital. And because of their pride as therapists and as team buddy’s for one another, that’s the reason I believe their warming energy shines in the spa and towards every guest that walks through the door. And guess what, those fabulous ladies I’m talking about are the ones who you get to meet (if you haven’t already) who will take the world off your shoulders even if it’s just a 30 min treatment. Who will build your confidence, and make you feel at ease. The quote when we opened 11 years ago was ‘there’s no place like home’ and thats how we hope to make you feel with us, your escape. The other quote we laugh about is ‘you can take the team out of the yellow front shop, but you’ll never take the yellow front shop away from the team’ if you’ve been with us from day one, just because we have a beautiful elegant new premises, certainly doesn’t mean our values, ethos and energy will ever change.
