Waxing during your pregnancy the main question we get asked is is it safe? The answer is….

YES! It’s safe to have a wax during but let’s go over some things to settle any nerves and best prepare you for your waxing appointment during your pregnancy.

What waxing can do done?
We can wax you from head to toe including what we’re known for intimate waxing. We will adapt our waxing techniques as you progress through your pregnancy (especially when you can’t lay on your tummy) as always we wont miss a hair! 🙌🏼

Increased blood flow & hormonal changes can make the skin more sensitive, especially in intimate areas. This can mean
Waxing may feel a little more uncomfortable than usual however not always we will do our best to ensure your comfortable throughout.
Also skin redness might last a bit longer, wear loose clothing to allow the skin to settle with no irritation.

We will always ensure you’re comfortable all our beds sit up so your not laid flat on your back. We also have pillows with anti microbial protection cases to support your body wherever needed.

We use high grade waxes designed for the ultimate waxing experience. Our hot wax is made by us as we wanted to make a wax that has a low melt temp (keeping you comfortable) and grabs even the shortest of hairs with ease. you’ll feel hair free and none sticky as no one wants to leave covered in wax especially when your pregnant!

Of course..Always check with your midwife if you have a high-risk pregnancy or specific medical concerns.

It’s so so true.
A simple light body exfoliation every time you shower using body gloves and your normal soap or shower gel will keep those pesky trapped hairs at bay.
Remember! You don’t need to go to rough if you’re doing this daily. You can also opt for a body scrub.
We recommend a scrub that is very gritty to effectively lift any trapped hairs and remove dead skin.
