I’m Sophie 👋
I hate this sort of thing, but it has to be done doesn’t it 🤣
I’ve been an artist, since well, I could pick up a pencil. Drawing is and always will be my life.
I eat, breathe, sleep and dream it. From waking up in the middle of the night to jot down ideas, to having a lunch break (which is usually Pinterest scrolling and drafting drawings), there’s barely a time when I am not being creative.
I studied Graphic Design at university and barely scrapped at 3rd because I hated it that much 🤣
I was lucky enough to land a job straight after graduating, designing stationery and homeware for the high street.
Then my first born came along, and I decided to start my own surface pattern design business. The aim was to bridge that little gap between the endless pink and blue in kids’ clothes. At one point I was even close to going on The Apprentice… apparently I just wasn’t that exciting 🤣
Thankfully, these days we’re lucky to see far more diverse designs everywhere.
Then baby number two arrived, and I started noticing the market becoming pretty oversaturated… cue the mild panic.
So here we are.
After discovering tattooing almost four years ago, I’m finally ready to take the next step in my creative life.

This might look like a random delivery photo, but this is it, the final box marking the beginning of my new chapter.

I’m overwhelmed, tearful, happy, but, I’m finally here. It’s been 3 years in the making and a lot of work in between.

People will say I’m lucky, I’m not.
The working until 2am, the 0 lunch breaks I have at school to cram in creativity, the second hand clothing I buy to save money for my business, the missed social events, and the endless designing for my other business that wakes me up in the middle of the night…

That is not luck.

That is seizing opportunities and taking sacrifices to achieve. I will do whatever it takes to give my daughters the best life and no one will get in the way of that.

It truly feels like a pinch-me moment.

I can’t wait to share more with you 💋

Surprisingly in this modern age, some still operate from insecurity instead of integrity. But I will stay focused. Everything I build is for my children, my family and their future. Legacy requires strength, not approval 💋
