The NMC has announced that from 1 June 2025, remote prescribing for non-surgical cosmetic medicines will be banned.

All nursing and midwifery prescribers must now conduct face-to-face consultations before prescribing treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections.

This is a huge step forward towards regulating this industry. There are far too many unqualified people out there injecting peoples faces without them ever meeting the person responsible for prescribing the treatments.
