👀 EXCITING CHANGES 👀

Hi everyone, we hope you have all been well over the past few months.

There are going to be some changes at No.49. As many of you are aware, Rachel also works at All About You Ellesmere Hair Beauty & Training in Ellesmere. We have made the decision to move the hair side of No.49 to Ellesmere full time and the beauty side of the business which is run by Nails and Beauty by Dani B (our lovely Dani) which will be remaining at No.49 on the top floor, where she will continue to produce her amazing nails, lash lift, lash extensions, tans, facials, waxing and everything inbetween.

These are very exciting times as Ruby will move onto the next steps of her Goldwell Colour Artist Education so watch out for some more beautiful colour work from her.

Both Ruby and Rachel are also booked onto a make-up course with the amazing Kate Hayes which unfortunately got cancelled in April due to COVID-19, so keep your eyes peeled for updates on that.

We are now taking appointments for hair services and you can contact Ruby and Rachel on 07913 115399 or through our Facebook and Instagram pages.

We are still unsure at the moment as to when Dani is able to start providing you beauty treatments again but you can contact her on 07950 138764 or also through her Facebook and Instagram pages.

We are very excited to get back into the salons and we are very much looking forward to seeing you all as we have missed you so much.

Hi everybody, hope you’re all safe and well.

Following on from recent announcements, we are remaining closed until July 4th (at the earliest)

As much as we would absolutely love to get back to the salon, we need to follow the government guidelines to ensure we all stay safe.

We are missing creating the beautiful cuts, colours, nails, lashes and so on. Chatting away with our lovely clients with a cup of tea and some of Julie’s brownies (Cakes by Julie at North Shropshire Domestic Services) if we’ve been lucky that day 🥰🤩

We can’t wait to see you all soon and in the meantime, please message us if you have any enquiries or if you need a chat 🖤

the shine is UNREAL 💦🌊🦋🐬🐳 some before lockdown throwbacks

As a little pick-me-up whilst we are all either stuck indoors or whether you are a key worker working your little butt off, we have decided to create a raffle to win some amazing prizes to be used as soon as we’re allowed back at the salon to cheer everybody up 🖤

💓 Each prize will be going to a different winner to give everybody who enters more chance of winning

💓 Numbers are £3 each or 2 numbers for £5

💓 Payment must be received before securing your numbers, therefore we will not be holding any numbers

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

No.49 Hair and Beauty will be closed until further notice with immediate effect!

I feel that the health and safety of family, staff, clients and the public is of utmost importance and in order to help minimise the spread of COVID-19 that this is a necessity and to remain open would hinder this.

My sincere apologies to clients who have upcoming appointments as the length of time we will remain closed is unsure at this moment and we will be doing our best to contact you.

Thank you for your understanding at these extremely unsure and worrying times.

COVID-19

As I’m sure most people are now aware, the UK government have now made the decision to close all Schools & Nurseries for the foreseeable future.

I can imagine this is going to have a huge impact on many families including my own & my clients.

I have a 9 year old & a 2 year old which will now be at home as off next week, as long as my household show no signs or symptoms of the virus I will continue to keep the studio open for as long as possible although as I’m sure everyone can understand childcare is going to be extremely difficult during this time with many families going into isolation.

I will try my hardest to stick by bookings but there may be days where we will have to reschedule for a different date & I will try to accommodate all clients the best way I possibly can.

If you’re concerned about an upcoming appointment or if yourself or any family members are experiencing any viral symptoms then please get in touch & we will get back to you at the earliest convenience to discuss this further & to make any other arrangements. But please remember as long as I have childcare arrangements in place on certain dates I will be working as normal, the studio is an extremely sterile & hygienic place, we do have face masks & if a client would like one during their appointment then they are there, aswell as hand sanitiser.

All I ask at this time is for people to be respectful & understanding that this is going to be a very trying time for a small, self-run business which my family rely on & it may make a huge impact on us as it will on a lot of families.

Aswell as this I would like to say that part of my job as your Tattooist is to be a listening ear & friend as many know I’m also someone who people can unload their worries on & as this is a very stressful time for everyone I would just like to let you know that even if your appointment needs to be rearranged for the time being we can still be a listening ear & here if anyone is isolated & needs someone to talk to, myself & Mitchell will help where we can.

Please everyone keep safe, be kind & supportive, take care of your families & make sure your Gin glasses are topped up.

IMPORTANT NOTICE COVID-19

After lots of discussion between the girls at No.49 with our best interest being the safety of our families and our clients, we have implemented a plan to allow us to stay open until it is no longer safe for us to do so.

Between us we have sterilised EVERYTHING this morning and will be doing the same to each section between each client to prevent any spread of infection. This may cause a small wait at the start of your appointment so please bare with us.

We will be removing all magazines and leaflets for the time being so please either bring along your own or alternatively you can use our free WiFi, just ask us for the password.

All we are asking is that you please wash your hands as you come into the salon.

Please consider that if you are feeling unwell or are in self-isolation that you rearrange your appointment. Just give us a call or message us and we will be happy to do this for you.

All of this is for the protection of our staff, families and clients, with this being a very worrying time for us all, we thank you for your support and custom.
