I went to Helen's sound bath simply because it felt right. I'd met her before, and I already knew how calm and safe I felt in her presence.
I was curious about how the sounds would affect my body and nervous system. Within moments, I had completely relaxed (I even heard myself snoring! 😅). My thoughts became quiet, my breathing slowed, and for a while, time simply disappeared. I found myself enjoying each sound, almost like listening to gentle waves while feeling a soft breeze.
What surprised me most wasn't just the relaxation. I felt a heaviness in my chest gently release, and afterwards my next steps felt unexpectedly clear. I left feeling grounded, present, and more in tune with my senses.
Whether it was the sound frequencies, Helen's calming presence, or the combination of both, I'm grateful I followed my curiosity. If you've been thinking about trying a sound bath, I'd wholeheartedly recommend experiencing one with Helen.
