The role of Museums
Museums provide a visual platform for understanding a variety of topics. They transport us to different times and places and help us understand the world as it is and was. Visiting museums help children get excited about subjects and expand their general knowledge. They have the opportunity to learn in an interesting and interactive way no book or computer can teach. Without museums we would loose a tangible link to our past.
In a time when schooling has been disrupted for a season, they are an amazing resource and a great way to educate our children, in a fun and safe environment.
Please support our museums, our world would be culturally poorer without them.
