💁🏼‍♀️CATWALK💁🏼‍♀️~ So yesterday was the Catwalk competition at college 🙂 our theme this year was The Oscars, so off of this I chose to branch out into the nominations for previous Oscars. My main idea was Ralph breaks the internet and having a candy themes look but incorporating roses from the movie Coco & a spider webbed look from Spider-Man films 🎥 unfortunately I didn’t place but the overall look was out of the ordinary and different from others’ 😊

🤩CURLY BLOWDRY🤩~ Did this lovely curly blow dry today 😍 Haven’t done one in a while but very happy with the results ☺️ Due to the client informing me that the hair doesn’t usually hold very well, I set these with Velcro rollers just to give that extra bit of lift and hopefully hold it in a bit better for a longer lasting result 🙂 The client was happy with the results too 🥳

🤩HIGHLIGHTS🤩 ~ Did some highlights to sort out this regrowth today 😍 (Mind the flash in some photos that make this look ridiculously yellow, I assure you they weren’t yellow 😂🤦🏼‍♀️) Slightly bigger sections highlighted than your regular T-Section of highlights just to sort the visible parts of the hair out 💁🏼‍♀️Good outcome I think ☺️ client seemed happy too 💕☺️

🤩TONER🤩~(Forgot The before photos😫) This client came in with some very orange highlights that had faded out into the previous ombré which she no longer wanted 🤮 she came in wanting them to look lighter again but was made aware that a toner won’t lighten only alter the unwanted tones in the hair 💁🏼‍♀️ she was happy with this as she wasn’t prepared for more highlights anyway ☺️ I used an ash toner to reduce the orangey tones which resulted in this lovely vibrant caramelly outcome 😍 the client loved it and said she’d like to tone her hair with this after her next set of highlights too 😍🥰

💁🏼‍♀️COLOUR CORRECTION/BANDING💁🏼‍♀️ ~ Did this clients hair a couple of weeks ago. She came in wanting to fix the prominent band she had due to build up up highlights 😫she wanted her hair to look like it had naturally grown out so without any lines/bands & then toned with a grey colour 😍🤩 to break up the band, I created a balayage effect with the bleach just on the mid lengths, not too high so that we didn’t ruin the effect of a natural regrowth. This lightened the hair quite well ☺️ we then went in with a grey mix for a toner... unfortunately due to the varied porosities throughout the hair, we were never going to get a completely even colour however the client also realised it would wash and fade out to eventually be similar shades throughout 🤩 Loved the outcome of this 😍

😍🤤OMBRÉ🤤😍~ Did this purple/pink ombré today for my client 🥰 quite a light/subtle purple on the roots & mid lengths with a bright magenta on the ends 💕 Started with a bleach balayage to lighten those ends and then applied the colour 😍 client loved the outcome and so did I ☺️

💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️TINT💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️~ This client came in yesterday very displeased with her last service due to all of her white hairs being left & very patchy ☹️ To fix this we did a regrowth and covered all the relevant areas with a 33/0 which is what she had last time & used 6% along with a heavy application to make sure all those resistant white hairs were covered 🤗 She was very please with the outcome and also loved her blow dry ☺️

👩🏽‍🦱💁🏻‍♀️CURLY BLOWDRY💁🏻‍♀️👩🏽‍🦱~Curly Blow Dry done today after this clients root tint (forgot to take photos) 🤷🏼‍♀️ Very happy with the result 💕 Client was amazed as she usually goes with a straight blowdry but wanted something different ☺️ Very fancy 🥰

💁🏼‍♀️BLOWDRY💁🏼‍♀️~ Done this straight blowdry on some very thick Afro hair the other day 🥰 definitely a challenge but the client left happy with how straight it was from root to ends ☺️
