S W I P E . . . For the results of this Lip Blush ๐Ÿ’‹

My client suffers from cold sores and so wanted the shape and definition adding back into her lips, from where she's had previous cold sores that have healed over time.

These were a tricky set of lips to work with, as the scar tissue meant the lips were harder to embed the pigment into.

The top up appointment will allow us to see how the colour has healed within the lips and see if we need to adjust the colour mix to allow for lasting results.

BECAUSE THEY DESERVED A SPOT . . . ๐Ÿ˜

I'm not sure if this is a nurse thing ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ, or just a me thing but I always get so nervous before I have clients come in for PMU (probably not reassuring if you're my client ๐Ÿซฃ๐Ÿ˜‚).

But, I swear that's only because I'm a perfectionist and I want the very best for my clients from their treatment.

I'm always doing latex practice on the days leading up to the appointment, practicing my mapping on any (un)willing person I can get my hands on, watching other artists educational videos.

And always doubting myself throughout the appointment, but then there's this point where I step away and look at the transformation and think ahhh what was I worrying about, it looks amazing (not to toot my own trumpet ๐ŸŽบ).

And that is exactly what I did with this Lip Blush, but I am so pleased with how they turned out and can't wait to see how they've healed ahead of their top up in a few weeks.

No doubt I'll still do all my pre appointment little routine, but I'm hoping one day the nervous wi***es will just go โ˜บ๏ธ.

Do any other artists have the same thing? Or is it just me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.

I've been holding on to these pics, but here's the annual colour boost pics of these brows ๐ŸคŽ.

We went a smidge darker to keep a bolder, more noticeable look once healed.

Don't they look gorgeous?

The difference 0.5ml of lip filler can make.ย

Adding volume and balance to enhance the pre-existing shape of the lips.

The swelling will go down within 24-48 hours, with the full results seen in 1-2 weeks.ย

We're 18 months healed when my client came in for her colour boost ๐ŸคŽ.

After a consultation we decided to go for a darker pigment, as my client liked the freshly done, bolder look to her brows and felt they were too soft after healing previously.

So we opted to use Monica Ivani Absolute Brown, swipe to see them fresh off the camera roll

Don't they look just peachy ๐Ÿ‘.

Last appointments for 2025 available in December. DM to book ๐Ÿ’Œ.

I haven't actually posted to my account for a bit, but I thought these brows were definitely worthy of their own post.

Check out how soft and natural looking they have remained 15 months after their previous colour boost ๐Ÿฅต.

These brows were topped up over 13 months ago, with a soft hint of pigment remaining.

Absolutely loved giving them a colour boost today.

My client wanted to go a little darker to maintain a more defined shape to them.

We opted to use Monica Ivani Faux Brown ๐ŸคŽ ensuring a soft and natural finish to them once healed.

My client booked in for both a Powder Brow and Lip Blush Colour boost.

She previously had her lip blush and microblading done a few years ago with another artist.

As you can see from the before pictures the residual pigment in the tails of the brows remained quite dark.

During the consultation we discussed this and I advised that I wouldn't be able to give her soft looking brows if trying to blend them with the existing pigment, as this would cause the brows to be too dark and wouldn't give a natural looking appearance, which I wasn't willing to do.

I advised that to lift some of this dark pigment, having laser removal first would be advisable to then ensure soft, healed results when colour boosting following this.

My client decided though she was 'too old to faff with having laser' her words not mine ๐Ÿซฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ and wanted to go ahead knowing that the tails would remain looking darker than the rest of the brow when boosted.

Pictures 1 & 2 show before the colour boost treatment and 3 & 4 are immediately after the colour boost.

What do you think, should I have colour boosted these brows as they were?

I'd be interested to know people's thoughts โ˜บ๏ธ.

My client booked in for a Blush and Brow refresh following a recommendation.

She had her original Lip Blush done a couple of years ago and needed a colour boost to add the shape and definition back into the lips.

Using Dusty Pink and Cinnamon from the Tina Davies Envy collection.

Swipe โžก๏ธ to see the refresh.

Natural lips just ELEVATED

My client wanted her lips to remain natural in appearance, but with just a bit of added volume.

Using 0.55ml to create this for her, we also balanced out the right side of the lip, which had less volume than the left.

Swipe to the left to see the before picture.

Appointments available for September ๐Ÿ’Œ.

This is what consistency in maintaining treatments looks like.

My client has regularly booked in for her treatments every 3-4 months following a consultation.

By having regular treatments and following the pre care and after care advice, my client has seen an improvement in the overall appearance of her skin and fine lines.

The first picture is from last weekend when she came in for her treatment, 4 months after her previous one.

And the second picture is when she first booked in almost a year ago now.
