It is all about the GLOW! I have never understood the ‘ matte effect.’ That said, each to their own. Personally I always like to have my skin’s natural glow coming through. Vitamin C products and exfoliating regularly help to achieve this. But let’s not forget a healthy diet, plenty of water and being happy, all keep us glowing. 😊

Happy 41st birthday to me!!!
Today I am happy to be celebrating 41 years of my life. This is a big deal to me. My brother passed away 8 years ago, he was 38. I am a warrior and come from a family of warriors so I carried on. I continued to have a positive outlook on life, but when it comes to my birthday, it just never felt right celebrating. He wasn’t able to have another birthday so on my birthday, I was always reminded of that. Last year that changed. I decided to turn 40 with a bang and loved every minute of it. Of course I wish he could have been with me. I have chosen to now embrace my birthdays. Life is to be celebrated. Live, love, be happy. Happy Saturday everyone and happy happy birthday to me! ❤️

11 years from today, we got married underneath the Tuscan sun. My journey with skin actually really began in preparation for my wedding. I don’t like the traditional heavy indian bridal makeup, but I kept getting told that I needed it for the photos. Of course I ignored everyone and did it myself! My friend did my eyes. I also booked a lovely photographer Annie Heslop, who took very natural shots. So here you are. I was able to go light because I had been working on my skin. By the way, contouring wasn’t a big thing then, so this is without any contouring, highlighting, strobing and any of those types of things that I still don’t do! I also truly believe that I was super glowing that day because it was the happiest day of my life. ❤️❤️❤️ Happy Father’s Day, Happy Sunday everyone!
A little tongue in cheek I know... but that’s me. 😃 It is true however. I don’t get the opportunity to glam up these days so I’ve been focusing on my skin even more and seeing the positive results has made me look, and feel, so much better. I have enjoyed my zoom consultations during lockdown and the system that AlumierMD uses, has meant that I can have the relevant products delivered straight to you. And it’s sooooo nice to have a chat. 😍
