πŸ’œ Meet the lovely Lillie πŸ’œ

I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful Lily last week, where she chose our Tranquility frame.

About an hour later, she came back to see me, and it completely made my day. She told me how much she was loving the glasses and that they were already helping her while she was walking around the show.

Moments like these are exactly why I love attending in-person events. There's nothing quite like meeting the incredible people behind every order, hearing their stories, and seeing the difference Aura Clarity is making in real time.

Thank you, Lillie, for your kindness and for coming back to share your experience with me. It truly meant so much. πŸ’œ

Thank you to all the other wonderful people I met πŸ’œ

Advocating for migraine is something I'm incredibly passionate about. πŸ’œ

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit Portcullis House in Parliament to meet with my local MP alongside Rob Music, CEO of The Migraine Trust

I arranged the meeting because I wanted to explore how we can work together to secure even more support for people living with migraine and for the incredible work The Migraine Trust does.

We had a really positive discussion about the important role MPs can play in helping to raise the profile of migraine in Parliament, whether that's asking parliamentary questions, supporting awareness campaigns, or championing better care and recognition for the millions of people affected across the UK.

Migraine is so often misunderstood, despite being one of the leading causes of disability worldwide. Conversations like these are an important step towards improving awareness, access to care, and ensuring the voices of people living with migraine are heard.

A huge thank you to Rob and my local MP for taking the time to meet and for supporting this important conversation. I'm looking forward to continuing to advocate for everyone living with migraine.

πŸ’œ If you or someone you know is affected by migraine, I highly recommend visiting The Migraine Trust website . They have a wealth of trusted information, practical resources, and a dedicated helpline if you need additional support. You don't have to navigate migraine alone.

Things I Do Because I Live With Chronic Migraine πŸ’œ

People often see the cancelled plans.

They don't see the internal debate, the disappointment, or the guilt that comes with trying to protect your health.

Living with chronic migraine means constantly weighing up whether something is worth the recovery that might follow.

Sometimes, the hardest decision is admitting that your body simply can't do what your heart wants to.

I've learnt that protecting my health isn't selfish. It's necessary.

Does anyone else struggle with the guilt that comes after cancelling plans?

You're definitely not alone. πŸ’œ

πŸ’œ Customer Testimonial πŸ’œ

"As both a rock musician and a model, Aura Clarity Glasses are my perfect companion. They elevate my style on stage and in front of the camera, while the migraine-reducing lenses keep me focused through every performance and shoot"

I first met Draco at one of our pop-up events, and we've stayed in touch ever since. One of the most rewarding parts of running Aura Clarity is hearing how our glasses are making a real difference to people's lives.

It's amazing how someone you meet for the first time can become one of your biggest supporters.

Thank you, Draco, for your continued support and for sharing your experience with Aura Clarity. πŸ’œ

A great presenter knows how to command a room, and certainly does just that!

It was fantastic to see him wearing our Zen frames while hosting the final show in Wales.

Congratulations on an incredible tour, Calvin!

Wishing you every success with everything that's next πŸ’œ

I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself because not everyone knows the full story... πŸ‘‹πŸ½

I'm Misba. Mum of two, biomedical scientist with over 10 years of NHS experience in haematology and blood transfusion and a chronic migraine sufferer.

A few years ago, my migraine got so bad I was housebound. I couldn't go into supermarkets. I couldn't take my daughters to swimming. I was really struggling at work because of the fluorescent lighting. My light sensitivity was so severe it was stealing my life from me.

I went looking for glasses that could actually help. Something that wouldn't make me look or feel like a patient. Something I'd actually want to wear.

I couldn't find it.

So I created it.

Aura Clarity was born in 2023 from a very real and very personal place. Every frame, every lens, every detail has been designed with people like us in mind.

Since then, I've spoken in Parliament about migraine awareness, appeared on BBC Breakfast, won the Theo Paphitis SBS Award, and built a community of people who finally feel seen.

But honestly?

The messages I receive from customers telling me their glasses changed their daily life is what's keep me going on the hard days.

If you're living with migraine, light sensitivity, or photophobia and you've never tried FL-41 lenses, I'd love to help you find your pair.
