Most s**g haircuts fail because too much weight gets removed… 👀✂️

This s**g haircut absolutely EXPLODED the last time I posted it… so here’s a deeper breakdown of how I create this modern soft s**g / wolf cut shape 🔥

The beauty of this haircut is that it’s ALL about weight distribution, over-direction and movement — but also making it wearable for real life.

Because the best haircuts aren’t just about looking good in a reel… they need to work day-to-day too 👏

Low-maintenance. Soft grow out. Easy styling. Effortless texture.

That’s the goal.

✂️ Split into 4 quadrants
✂️ Create a central guide elevated to 90 degrees
✂️ Pull everything into that guide section
✂️ Over-direct AWAY from where you want to keep weight + length
✂️ Connect the back into the crown guide section

For this haircut I intentionally kept more weight through the front by over-directing sections further across the centre of the head instead of pulling them backwards. This keeps more density and softness around the face whilst still creating movement through the haircut.

Through the back sections, I concave around the head initially, but once I reach the areas closer to behind the ears, I redirect those sections slightly more back towards the centre of the head instead of continuing to round fully forwards. This helps maintain more weight and avoids the perimeter becoming too wispy or disconnected.

This is why two s**g haircuts can look completely different 👏
