As some of you know the Scottish Air Ambulance is something me and my family will be forever grateful for in saving my Dads life last year.

Help Flora Walk Comfortably Again 🐾

Hi everyone,

This is my beautiful girl Flora. She’s only 4 years old and is a corgi × French bulldog cross with the biggest personality and the most loving heart. Anyone who has met her knows she’s full of life, cuddles, and determination.

Flora has already been bravely living with IVDD, and despite the challenges, she has always remained a little trooper — adapting, staying playful, and bringing joy to everyone around her.

Sadly, we’ve now been given more difficult news. Flora has developed Angular Limb Deformity (ALD / Radius Curvus). This means one of the bones in her front leg stopped growing too early while the other continued, causing her leg to bow and twist. It’s painful and will continue to worsen without surgical correction.

The recommended surgery will help realign her leg, relieve pain, and give her the chance to move comfortably and live the happy, active life she deserves.
However, the cost of surgery and aftercare is around £8,000, and our insurance will only cover £2,000.

That leaves us needing to raise £6,000 to give Flora this life-changing operation.

I never imagined having to ask for help like this, but Flora is family. She has given me unconditional love, comfort on my hardest days, and endless happy moments. I just want to give her the chance to run, play, and grow old without constant pain.

If you’re able to donate — no matter how small — it would mean the world to us and go directly towards:
• Specialist surgery
• Medication and pain relief
• Rehabilitation and aftercare
• Follow-up vet visits

**Storm Update & Appointment Check-in**

Evening everyone! I was holding off to see how the storm was looking.

I do intend to be in the salon tomorrow/Saturday but I’m asking all clients to **please drop me a quick message the morning of** to let me know if you’re going to brave the weather or if you’d prefer to rearrange.

**A few quick notes:**
* **No Cancellation Fees:** Given the weather, I won’t be enforcing the cancellation policy for tomorrow’s or Saturday appointments.
* **Rebooking:** Please bear with me for new dates! I have very limited space over the next few weeks, so I’ll need a little patience as we find a new slot.
