Hello my lovely ladies, how are you all? It feels like years not weeks since we all last saw eachother, can I thank you for your continued little messages they’re lovely, as for me there’s not much to tell you other than my lovely dr is still trying to find the right medication and dose for my muddled head, I’m still seeing him every two weeks, started an additional medication last week which started to move things forward but now has presented some unwanted side affects so we’ll talk about that when I see him again on Friday 🤯.
I start counselling on 19th August which came through quicker than we all expected ( thankyou nhs) my days are still flying by and I’m trying to set myself little jobs to complete every day , today and yesterday have been a bit rough so I take myself off to another room and try to empty my full swishing mind and get back on track, there is never any warning for these little episodes but there you go. For anyone who has or is suffering from a breakdown it’s very hard to put into words how it makes you feel on a daily/nightly basis because there are so many aspects and it’s uncontrollable, hard to imagine this illness literally has a mind of its own, only that being in my home with “my people “ is the only place I want to be , the outside world apart from the gp surgery 🫣i miss my life , i miss the freedom and i miss myself but I really really am fighting this every step of the way I promise.
For now I have disabled fresha the online booking system, Septembers appointments still stand but please feel free to message me with any questions I will however get in touch with you who have appointments in August x
Hi everyone, how are you all?
If you’d like to read an update then this is for you.
Firstly I think about you all the time. Wondering how you are ❤️
I’m still seeing the gp every 2 weeks, had a rough week last week, coupled with my beautiful Timmy going missing last Thursday, we think he had been attacked by a fox and was too injured and frightened to leave where ever it was he was hiding but at 3:15 yesterday morning he finally came home,🥰 things are changing which the dr is pleased about, Paul went back to work on Monday and it filled me with all sorts of uneasy feelings and worry about him facing back log from being off work with me but he’s promised everything is ok.
I’m now on 3 lots of medication that all work together to make me feel and behave on an even keel and allow clarity ro think logically which is very welcomed and this mixture is starting to do what it needs to do but now because some feelings are being dampened and my mind feels less full I’m just exhausted but really hopeful this mixture is the right one so I can start the next journey in August to begin to unravel and understand what has caused this and to hopefully recognize what went wrong and make changes but until the dr is happy and I’m stable I can’t start the next step. So you all know what’s going on is it ok if we take it 2 weeks at a time with appointments that are already booked in for August in case you need to make alternative arrangements?
You’re all never far from my thoughts and thankyou again for the flowers , gifts & cards, so thoughtful, sorry if you’ve messaged and I’ve not read them I’m trying to stay away from social media , news & current affairs as much as possible to keep life simple.
I love you all ❤️
Hello my lovely ladies, I thought I’d post an update for those who are interested.
We’re now into week 6 since my breakdown I’ve been seeing Mr amazing ( my new doctor) every 2 weeks for medication tweaking and general wellbeing, still under the care of the mental health team who are fabulous, I now have a diagnosis and treatment pathway so that I’ll never hopefully have a 3rd breakdown! this weekend saw a really big turn which feels wonderful, still battling with a few ongoing symptoms but I now know what are the triggers for some, for the first time in months I have clarity and I can think clearly about what needs to change in my life and the dynamics of our family life, Mr amazing hasn’t even mentioned the word “work” so I will go on his recommendation and the option of my family and “my Nadine” AKA

It’s so lovely to still be receiving messages from you it means so much, how are you all getting on with you new nail techs , lash techs & beauticians? Are they being lovely to you all?
Looking forward to seeing you all again ❤️
Hi everyone, let’s not only share our highs but share our lows,,,,,,,,,,,,,I know you’ll all be wondering where I’ve disappeared to, and why your appointments have been cancelled for a little while, here goes,,,,,,,
Before I start I’d like to say that this post isn’t in any way reaching out for sympathy, “poor you”, “ just pull yourself together “ or anything like that, I want & need to make anyone who suffers like me to not ignore the signs, don’t ignore friends and family who say “ are you ok you don’t seem yourself” “ slow down, little things can wait”, trust your instinct and those around you. REACH OUT in what way you can.
For some I know this will be hard to understand but for those who find life just overwhelming I hope this gives you a push to ask for help, to accept you’re not behaving or thinking in a way that is normal for you and that you don’t get dragged down the mountain and feel it’s too much of a struggle to climb back up and quite frankly not having the mechanism to know where to put your foot first.
After having my first frightening encounter with mental health after having my son in 2000 I developed postnatal depression whilst setting up my first salon in st Mary’s mews when Tom was 13 weeks old to catch the Christmas trade 🫣 madness literally, for those who have been unfortunate to have had this you’ll fully understand, after that I would say I was never my full self again, and a tiny first piece of me disappeared along with my confidence and my self worth but this also made me realise what a unhealthy marriage I was in and we divorced when Tom was 3. my father suddenly died 2 years after my beloved nanny ( another bereavement I failed to manage) and my wonderful grandfather 2 years before that 🫣coupled with family problems due to that I had a complete mental breakdown which cost me finishing further education and eventually my dream of starting my degree ,I was constantly feeling responsible for the wellbeing of those around me and taking on the grief my mother was suffering coupled with having 2 small children, a business to run, a home to juggle I neglected my own grief and my own worries
and pressures, and another piece of me disappeared, fast forward to 5 years ago, covid , my business like many others hung in the balance, I was closed and facing serious financial struggles not knowing what the outcome would be, Tom struggling to find the right path, mills being bullied ,life, pressures, work, commitments & still taking on responsibility for the stresses other people were having around me it happened again, another piece of me disappeared,
That brings us to now, 16 days ago to be precise, we had taken our daughter and her friend to lunch, I turned to my husband and said “ I don’t feel myself today “ looking back now I could see the pattern emerging, the emotion starting to build, and there were all the warning signs in plain sight but there was no room in my muddled head to see.
Another peice of me was getting ready to leave, the days that passed I kept busy with my work and continued to drag myself through the gloup until I felt so frightened of myself, frightened of thoughts, petrified of giving into sleep, checking and writing down insurance policy numbers, making sure Paul knew my final wishes, making my best friend promise to forfill what I wanted in the event of my d£& because I was convinced it was going to kill me 🫣, the guilt of closing the salon to my wonderful clients who had paid my salary for 26 years, scared of what people may say about me, convinced people didn’t like me really they were just being polite, this time by far has been the most frightening out of body experience, confusing breakdown I have had and hope it will be the last, my brand new gp in a new surgery ( castle fields) has been beyond amazing, the mental health team were so quick to get in touch, support, coping strategies were offered and today is the first day the fog is starting to lift, I have clarity for the first time in weeks and happy to go to bed and sleep, no skin crawling, no phantom itching, my body and mind are finally still, I no longer feel the blood rushing through my veins, I’ve had no panic attacks for 2 days and I’ve not cried with fear and confusion since yesterday.
I feel no embarrassment or shame sharing this with 400 odd fb friends and followers, I beg any of you who are feeling or starting to feel like I was all those days ago, you cannot fight this alone, it is and will always be bigger and stronger than you, please please don’t suffer in silence, think of those closest to you and how it will impact them if you become like me last week, please send a text or admit you’re not feeling 100% it may save your life!!!!
Finally, to my husband, who has not left my side , my children who all of a sudden seem so grown up and to my beautiful best friend who always knows just what to say and do.
I am blessed , but I will be back!!!!!!!!!! I promise promise I’ll be back, I’m not sure when but I will 😘
In the meantime I’ll be setting up a go fund me page as I’m too old for only fans,,,,,,,,,, ☺️

Hi everyone, I’m so sorry, currently I have over 100 messages from you all rightfully questioning appointments, can you all let me go through all of them as there are double bookings overlapping existing appointments, may I ask you all refrain from booking until I see you at your next appointment and we can go from there?
