I’m a big believer in less is more when it comes to cosmetic tattooing.

One of the main reasons clients choose me is for soft, refined results that age beautifully over time… not skin that’s overloaded with ink.

Too much pigment or going too dark is a fast track to a result that won’t stand the test of time.

This is a perfect example.

My client’s natural brow growth sat downward and didn’t complement her features. By selectively removing weight and rebuilding structure where she lacked hair, I’ve been able to subtly lift and rebalance the entire face.

The result? A softer, fresher, more lifted appearance… fit for fifty 😜

I always aim to work with your natural brow, but in more complex cases like this, knowing what to take away is just as important as what to add.

Another unforgettable weekend at The Brow Awards.

This year marked my fourth year judging, and every single time I leave feeling more inspired by the talent within our industry. The standard continues to rise and it’s such a privilege to witness the artistry, dedication and passion that goes into the work we all do.

A huge thank you to and for creating such an incredible event year after year. Pulling something like this together is no small task, and the community you’ve built is truly special.

LIP BLUSH DEMO MODEL – MATURE LIPS

I have one extra demo model space available next Tuesday (17th) for a Lip Blush Masterclass focused specifically on mature lips.

This appointment will be carried out entirely by me, with my student observing the full process as part of her advanced training.

Lip blush is a beautiful treatment for mature clients, restoring soft colour, improving definition and giving lips a more youthful, hydrated appearance without looking like lipstick.

The ideal model would have naturally pale, uneven or slightly faded lip colour and be comfortable being used as a demonstration during the training.

LIP BLUSH MODEL SLOTS FOR MATURE CLIENTS (over 50’s)

Next week (Tuesday 17th) I’ll be teaching a Lip Blush Masterclass focused specifically on mature lips.

My student is already a qualified lip blush artist who produces beautiful results, but she’s looking to build more confidence working with lips that can sometimes be a little more challenging to tattoo.

I have two model slots available, offered on a first come, first served basis:

Option One – Demo Model
🕚 11:00am
This treatment will be performed by me, with my student observing the full process.
Model price: £200 (usually £350)
⏱ Approx. 2.5 hours

Option Two – Student Model
🕑 2:00pm
This treatment will be performed by my student under my full supervision and guidance. I’ll be closely observing throughout and assisting where needed to ensure a beautiful result.
Model price: £150
⏱ Approx. 2.5–3 hours

Not all eyeliner needs removing. Sometimes it just needs refining.

My client came to me with a blurred, cool-toned liner placed approx 8 years ago by another artist. Over time it had softened, migrated slightly and lost its definition. Following her blepharoplasty 18 months ago, the eye shape had also subtly changed.

Instead of starting from scratch, we worked with what was there.

I deepened the old pigment, sharpened the lash line and introduced a delicate baby wing to gently lift and elongate the eye. Nothing heavy. Nothing overpowering. Just strategic placement to create that soft, sultry cat-eye finish.

The result?
A brighter eye.
A cleaner edge.
A subtle lift to complement her surgery.

This is what I love about corrective and refresh work. It’s not about adding more. It’s about adding intention.

Next step… re-tattooing her brows following laser removal. A full restoration in progress. ⚒️

Absolutley MASSIVE well done to Ashley Roberts for a superb 1st TIME PASS, at Stafford TC today, with just a couple of minor faults.

You have worked so hard to achieve this goal and the extent or freedom this will give you now is immense.

It’s crazy going back the 4 short months when you didn’t like to drive, (and didnt even remember the colour of my car 😂) to a few weeks later and you couldn’t wait to get in the car, I’ve seen such a change in you and your complete competency and your confidence grew day by day.

Enjoy your freedom, I’ll miss you. But I’ll book in to get my brows done soon 😂

Shaded brows, also known as powder or ombré brows, often raise eyebrows in the first few days… quite literally.

Freshly done, they do look stronger and more defined. This is completely normal and expected. Over the first 7–14 days, as the skin heals and the pigment settles, that initial intensity softens beautifully. What’s left is a natural, diffused brow that looks effortless rather than “done”.

This is actually one of the reasons shaded brows are my most requested service.
