Final results are in and I am now a BSc (with honours) physiotherapist!!!

3 years full time study, plus keeping a business running and having so many jobs in sport I could barely keep track 😂

7 day weeks were the norm but what a ride! Wouldn’t change it for the world and I’m the luckiest person to be able to do this as my job.

So many people helped and believed in me along the way, none more so than my amazing colleagues and the incredible educators I had both at Warrington rugby and Macc Hospital.

They taught me how to be a better physio but more importantly how to be a better person to enable me to do the best job for my patients/players.

So grateful to the ones that inspired me to do this, those I’ve lost and think about daily, and those supporters I’ve gained along the way 🐝🦁🥤

Can’t wait to start my next chapter 🥳🥹

Finally finished my physio degree so I will be working full time again doing sports therapy/massage until my results come through over the summer 🌞🌞

Early morning and late night appointments are also available.

I can’t believe it’s done- still nervously awaiting some marks but it’s done.

Feeling very teary right now!! It’s been so tough but so worth it.

After losing some important people in my life I vowed to live life to the full and follow my dreams. Thanks to them I was brave enough to try. Forever grateful to them and my amazing support crew- you all mean everything to me ❤️🐝

What a day!!!

The amazing S&P tribe walked the Gritstone trail yesterday - we covered 57km/35 miles starting at 4am and taking us around 15 hours.

Every one of us was broken but we didn’t quit- we never do when we have a challenge set for us.

Yesterday was about supporting one of our own and also supporting anyone who has had their lives touched by mental health issues.

We all had our own personal motivations - I took mine with me on the journey ❤️❤️

I can’t speak highly enough of this group of people- had some lovely conversations, so many examples of how we supported each other, and all following the example of our leader Karl Niamatali . Without him we wouldn’t have all finished, and without him we probably wouldn’t have thought we were capable of a challenge like this. The absolute best person you could ever meet.

Most importantly we have raised over £5,500 for the mental health charity Mind. Any further donations would be very welcome.

And if anyone has a mobility scooter I could borrow that would be ace- I have never been this sore in my life but I’d do it again tomorrow. Roll on next years challenge 😬💪🏻
