Do you feel like you are taking a step back with your skin at times?
Read this ā¬ļø
When you start using certain active ingredients in skincare like retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, or vitamin C, your skin cell turnover speeds up. This means that any blockages, excess oil, or buildup sitting beneath the surface rise to the top more quickly. The result? Breakouts that may look like your skin is āworsening.ā
This process is called purging, and itās actually a sign that your skin is responding to the treatment. Unlike regular breakouts, purging usually happens in areas where you already tend to get spots and should improve within 4ā6 weeks as your skin adjusts.
If breakouts appear in new areas, feel painful, or last beyond this period, itās likely an irritation or reaction and not purging
This is your reminder to be patient with your skin journey.
Long lasting healthy skin is the goal. Not quick fixes that often damage the skin further.

Sensitive, redness prone skinā¦ā¦ā¦
This cleanser is a lifeline for compromised skin.
It works at calming the skin, reducing irritation and helping to reduce redness.
If your skin is feeling tight and irritated, try switching to this cleanser.
Often, just switching to a non-irritating cleanser that isnāt stripping the skin but nourishing it can make a massive difference to how your skin looks and feels.
Itās a favourite at skin clinic.

STRESSED SKIN? HEREāS WHATāS REALLY GOING ONā¦
When youāre stressed, your skin knows itābefore youāve even had chance to catch your breath.
Hereās how stress shows up on your face
Breakouts or flare-ups āļø
Increased sensitivity āļø
Dull, tired-looking skināļø
Dehydration āļø
Slower healing āļø
Thatās because stress increases cortisol (the stress hormone), which can throw your skinās barrier and oil production into chaos.
So, how can we calm stressed skin?
It starts from both outside and withinā¦ā¦ā¦.
Skincareā
Think barrier-repairing ingredients, calming botanicals, and simplicity. This isnāt the time for harsh activesāyour skin needs soothing and support.
Treatmentsā
Targeted facials can help reduce inflammation, boost circulation, and give your skin (and mind) a moment to reset. Think of it as therapy⦠for your face.
Nutrition & Gut Health ā
A stressed gut often shows up in the skin. Nourishing your body with whole foods, staying hydrated, and supporting gut health can bring noticeable results on the outside too.
