Here's how it can help you on your healing journey:
π Encourages the clearance of excess fluids.
π Helps diminish bruising,
π Soothes discomfort and minimizes swelling, offering relief and comfort as you recuperate.
π Aids in scar management, potentially leading to smoother and less noticeable scars.

Can massage really help with weight loss?
Yes as a supportive tool because:
β
It helps reduce stress and cortisol levels
β
Improves your quality of sleep
β
Aids muscle recovery reducing soreness and increasing flexibility
β
Boosts you mood, helping you continue to work out. And it can to reduce; cravings and emotional eating
β If you make it a lymphatic massage, that reduces water retention, improves circulation and increases detoxification.
Massage alone, won't reduce your weight but it can be used in combination with lifestyle and diet changes to help support you.
You might like to think of it as a self-care step in your weight loss journey.

I love hearing back from my clients!
My client, also called Simone, wrote to say:
"Massive thanks once again to Mckenzie Remedial Massage and her magic hands and bamboo sticks. Working at a computer all day is a slow death for my body, especially my shoulders.
Iβve been getting numbness down my left arm for months and months and finally succumbed to some ME TIME. Should have done it sooner as I feel fabulous today. Invigorated.
Thanks, Simone. See you next month for more of the same. I was super surprised at how well priced your treatment is for the time and quality - THANK YOU!!!"
Thank you to my client. Your words are much appreciated.

Caring for someone with arthritis? Here's how remedial massage can make a real difference. β€οΈ
Arthritis doesn't just affect joints, it affects daily life, movement, mood, and independence. But there's real help available.
Remedial massage is one of the most effective ways to manage arthritis symptoms. Itβs not just about easing pain (though it does that beautifully), itβs about helping your loved one feel like themselves again.
β
Pain relief β Massage calms the nervous system and reduces the pain signals being sent to the brain. It also encourages the release of natural painkillers, like endorphins.
β
Better circulation β Improved blood flow helps reduce inflammation and swelling, while delivering nutrients and oxygen to stiff joints.
β
Less muscle stiffness β Arthritis causes the muscles to overwork. Massage releases built-up tension, helping the body relax and function more freely.
β
Improved mobility β By easing pain and loosening tight areas, massage encourages gentle movement β a vital part of slowing arthritic degeneration.
Helping your loved one stay mobile and comfortable is one of the most powerful forms of care you can offer. π

Allergies, sinus headaches and pressure....
A client contacted me because she was struggling with allergies, sinus headaches and pressure following some dental work. I suggested a lymphatic drainage facial massage, which is often used to help encourage drainage around the sinus area.
After her treatment she told me:
"I left feeling relaxed and able to fully breathe through my nose again."
I was so pleased to hear she found relief and enjoyed the treatment.
