Hello everyone,

I just wanted to start by saying I hope you all had a truly lovely Christmas and enjoyed some special time with friends and family. I also want to say a huge thank you again for all the cards, gifts and kindness I received. I’m honestly so grateful and feel very lucky to have such wonderful clients.

As the New Year approaches, I wanted to be open and honest with you all about a few changes that will be coming into place over time. I always aim to be transparent with my clients, and I want to reassure you that these changes will not be happening immediately, plenty of notice will be given.

December saw the highest number of cancellations I’ve ever had. I completely understand that illness can’t be helped, these viruses have affected so many people, and myself and my family have experienced it first-hand too. I’ve always tried to be fair, flexible and understanding with appointments and pricing wherever possible.

However, with the continued rise in the cost of living and running costs, it’s becoming necessary to review certain aspects of the business to ensure I can continue offering the best service while keeping things sustainable.

The changes that will be reviewed and introduced gradually include:
• Deposits will need to be taken when booking appointments
• Cancellation policy will be reviewed
• Prices will need to be reviewed
• I always try my best to accommodate mobile visits, however due to time, health considerations and family commitments, colouring services will now only be carried out from my log cabin. This has been a very difficult decision, and I truly hope that clients will still be able to come to me for these services.

Over time, due to health considerations and the physical demands of transporting and setting up all of the equipment required for colouring services, I’ve had to accept that continuing mobile colouring appointments is no longer manageable for me. It’s been a really difficult decision, as I’ve always tried my best to be as flexible and accommodating as possible.
Another important factor is that by working from home, it allows me to manage my own health and the children’s health more effectively. Being based at home means I’m far less likely to have to cancel appointments if I’m not able to travel, which ultimately helps me offer a more reliable and consistent service for everyone.

Alongside these changes, there are also some really positive and exciting things to look forward to in the New Year. Where Be Inspired by Victoria will be growing, with new ideas and services in the works, as well as a lovely collaboration on a little side project that’s all about celebrating life’s special moments — I can’t wait to share more when the time is right.

And as if that wasn’t enough… next year also sees me turning 40 🤦🏼‍♀️ so there will definitely be plenty of celebrations, a few carefully planned surprises, and lots of reasons to celebrate throughout the year.

Thank you so much for your continued support, loyalty and understanding, it genuinely means the world to me. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

Once again I would just like to apologise to all my customers and thank you all for your patience. Unfortunately I am still quite poorly. This is the 4th week now and after antibiotics and steroids I started to feel quite unwell again yesterday, Iv been seen today by a doctor again and I still have crackling on my chest/lungs and so the infection needs to be treated with stronger medication. Fingers crossed this buggers off asap 😩😢🤧

Apologies again to all my customers - this is definitely not how I was expecting the new year to go - whatever this virus is, it’s knocked me well and truly off my feet, I feel absolutely rotten. I have so much work to catch up on but unfortunately I’m still very poorly. I’m so sorry to you all 🤒😩😢😷

❗️IMPORTANT INFORMATION❗️

This is a polite notice to let all my customers know that there will be a small price increase on all the services that I offer from 01/01/2025
I have given this decision careful thought and consideration as you all know it’s something that I really don’t like to do. I pride myself in offering affordable services aswell as a relaxed approach, however due to the cost of living increases aswell as industry supplies I really have been left with no choice. I have always been upfront with you all and if truth be told I was earning more years ago then I am now. My love and passion for my career has kept me going but unfortunately that doesn’t pay the bills. I have exhausted every option, even considered if it’s time to finish. I will always help anyone out as I believe in our industry we are more than just hairdressers, many of my customers have became friends but I must put my big girl pants on and stick to a new pricing schedule. I totally appreciate that this is something that people wouldn’t have factored in when booking your next appointments hence why this change isn’t going to take effect untill the new year. New pricing will be released in November along with some new services that I will be offering. Once again thank you so much to all my lovely customers for your continued loyalty and support. ✂️🥰 xx
