Well what can I say only after 27 years of successful trading Jo-Sam’s will be closing the doors for the final time on Saturday 22nd March at around 1oclock.
Throughout the 27years I have so many happy memories.
I have employed the most lovely bunch of girls over the years. Kelly,Tilly.Laura and Korena started with me from school and have all gone on to achieve very successful hairdressing careers which I am super proud of them and proud to say that their humble beginnings started at little old Jo Sam’s. Jenna and Shelly who went onto different careers and Amy and Chloe who were only with me for a short while but have both gone onto successful careers in hairdressing. Our Annie our super Saturday girl who all the clients loved. Finally Kelly-Anne who has remained loyal and stayed with me right to the end and will be starting her new beginnings very soon which will be a huge success of that I’m sure.
The beauticians Margaret and Sara who were at the salon for quite some time and became lovely friends and joined in with our birthday and Christmas celebrations over the years.
I have had some amazing clients walk through my doors over the years I can even remember my very first client called Lisa who now lives all the way over in Australia . I have loved every minute of creating and making you feel like a million dollars when you left the salon and also watching my team create some amazing styles too.
The thing about Jo Sam’s is that it’s always been a warm and friendly atmosphere with lots of laughter.
Myself my staff and the wonderful clients have all played a huge part in making the unforgettable memories over the years.
The Loreal colour trophy trips. The great fancy dress at Christmas and Halloween. The Christmas dues have always been great and very memorable.
Although the reason to close was by force and not by choice I am now ready to start a new chapter and when I close the door I will have my head held high and a smile on my face.

The time has come to say a fond farewell to Kelly. Due to circumstances totally out of my control Kelly will be working her last day at Jo Sams on Wednesday 5th February. Clients old and new are all welcome to pop in the salon on this day for a glass of fizz to say goodbye and wish her luck in her new venture.
For anyone wishing to follow Kelly and support her in her new business from the end of March Kelly will be renting a chair at Park View Hair Salon in Nuncergate.
I would like to take this opportunity to thankyou for 17 years of loyal service in which I have watched you develop into a very confident and talented hairstylist with a strong passion for keeping up to date with all the latest new techniques and ever changing styles in our industry.
I would like to wish you all the luck in the world with you new business. It’s an exciting new chapter for you which I am confident will be a huge success. You will do well Kelly because you have an excellent work ethic and you are an amazing hairdresser.
So go smash it Kelly
