Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin.

The last few months have been some of the hardest of my life. There were moments where I felt completely broken, moments where I questioned everything, moments where I had to rebuild myself from the ground up while still showing up every day for my clients and my business.

But one thing I’ve learned is that sometimes life removes what isn’t meant for you so it can make room for what is.

This award means so much more than a title.

It represents every late night, every setback, every sacrifice, every moment I chose not to give up.

To every client who has trusted me, supported me, sat in my chair, shared their stories with me, recommended me, voted for me and believed in Maison De Kimia, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You are the reason this happened.

Winning Outstanding Nail Salon of the Year 2026 at the Oceanic Awards is something I will never forget, and I am so grateful to every single person who has been part of this journey.

And the journey isn’t over yet…

This set took hours, every petal sculpted by hand, every stone placed like it was meant to be there.

Nails like these aren’t an accessory. They’re a mood. A signature. A little piece of art you carry with you everywhere.

Inspired by the deepest, most romantic blooms, the kind that look almost too beautiful to be real.

I wanted these to feel like tiny pieces of jewellery scattered across the nail.

Not too neat, not perfectly placed… just enough chaos to catch your eye properly.

The n**e base keeps everything soft, so the crystals can do what they need to do without the set feeling overworked.
And honestly, placement was the hardest part with this one every gem changes the balance of the nail, so one wrong piece and the whole thing feels off.

I also didn’t want them to look flat.
The mix of shapes, colours and tiny metallic details gives that almost “collected over time” feel instead of just sticking gems on for the sake of it.

Probably one of my favourite sets I’ve done recently because it feels playful but still expensive.

Like vintage jewellery… but on nails.

This set came out a lot deeper than I expected… in a good way.

The red isn’t just red, it’s layered, almost like it’s glowing underneath.
Once the chrome detailing went on, it completely changed the feel of it. It started to look more like jewellery than nails.

Every edge had to be placed carefully so it frames the nail without taking over.
Too much and it loses that sharpness… too little and it doesn’t hit the same.

The centre pieces were the part I slowed down on the most.
Making sure they sit properly, balanced, and don’t feel heavy even though they stand out.

It’s bold, but still controlled.

Not the kind of set you wear every day…
but when you do, it says enough on its own.
