PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy is used to promote tissue regeneration, and improve skin and hair health by concentrating platelets from a patient's own blood to stimulate the body's natural healing process. Common applications include reducing hair loss, and rejuvenating skin by promoting collagen and cell production.
How it works:
Blood Collection: A sample of blood is taken.
The blood is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma and concentrate the platelets.
The concentrated, platelet-rich plasma is then injected into the chosen area, such as skin for rejuvenation or scalp to encourage hair growth and thickening.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Finally the amazing PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatment is now available for Men & Women as one of the numerous clinical services I am offering at the Zoe PMU Private Studio in Cockett (by appointment only).

PRP has, until very recently, only been provided by hospitals and elite Dr led clinics, but due to legislation, it has now become possible for appropriately qualified/trained & registered Healthcare Professionals to offer this groundbreaking treatment to their clients for the following purposes:

Hair loss (thinning)
Scar revision
Acne (healed)
Rosacea
Eczema
Stretch marks
General maintenance & Rejuvenation of all areas of the body & face (including under eye)
Accompaniment to micro-needling treatment

PRP is Very Exciting as, depending on blood clients extraction rate, between 3-6 ml of Platelet Rich Plasma (containing absolutely nothing artificial) can be available per treatment making this an extremely cost effective alternative when favourably compared to Polynucleotides and Boosters which are typically 2ml of excellent synthetic product per treatment.

Treatment is recommended as:
3 initial treatments 4 weeks apart (some clients require/request 4)
Then maintenance treatment at 6-9 months or as required.

Here’s the necessary serious information:
Please be aware that PRP, unlike other hair loss and rejuvenating services that I also offer, involves the taking of blood, and so is a clinical/aesthetic procedure and should never be undertaken or offered by an unlicensed/unregistered non-healthcare professional.

Don’t be put in danger; any unqualified individual taking blood (non phlebotomy trained) can cause serious harm and risk serious injury as not every blood vessel is appropriate for sample taking!
Any unqualified individual using an inappropriate (cheap non-clinical, non-FDA approved) centrifuge system is at risk of injecting their clients with an ineffective/low ratio of platelet serum, or even injecting ‘whole blood’ products back into the clients skin which can be very painful and can cause serious complications.
