😬😬😬"I've messed up! I've put loads of weight back on and I've been an absolute pig!"

For me this is the absolute truth and I know so many of you can relate to exactly this. But I have also been living my life, both bad and good times have happened which has made me fall back and grasp hold of some really bad habits I thought I had gotten rid of.
Honesty for me is the most important factor of loosing weight or reaching any goal you may have!!!! And honestly I have not been the best version of myself and yes it's easy to excuse what I have done - there are many reasons, but unfortunately they are just excuses.

The point to this post today is to remind you that you are not on your own. Even your PT who has qualifications in nutrition and life coaching (ironic) can have a stretch of time where they are not making progress.

I have sat here tonight quite upset about how I am feeling about myself at the moment and it was at this point that I decided what the hell is crying going to do about it. I have decided to go back to basics and get myself back on track.

The funniest thing about a sustainable lifestyle is that you can have a couple of "bad" months and put unwanted weight on - however if you can do it before you can do it again.

Am I 100% happy with the way I look at the moment no I am not. But does the extra weight I have put on define who I am as a person, my intentions in life or what I can or can not achieve in life no it absolutely does not.

With this being said I am going to grasp my life and enjoy the happy moments I am currently having. But I am also going to get back in control of my eating, continue to get back into my gym routine and grasp ahold of my healthy habits I have set myself before.

I write these kind of posts hoping that those reading it will hold me accountable. Keep me on track - just as I as a PT would do for my clients.

Have a glorious weekend πŸ₯°πŸ˜˜

Chicken noodles πŸ˜‹ serves two

400g chicken breast
Packet of noodles
Chow mein sauce
Mixed veg
Broccoli πŸ₯¦
Pepper
Chilli 🌢
Red onion
Mushrooms

One thing I love doing to my dishes is completely bulking it up with veg! I had a giant portion because of all the veggies.

I seasoned my chicken with paprika and peri peri spice and cooked my chicken in fry light. Both the noodles and the sauce came from lidle or aldi so we're cheap and cheerful. A humongous bowl of delicious noodles all at 573 calories πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

What's everyone else had for their tea?

My go to breakfast πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

2 x chicken sausages- 54 calories
2 x eggs - 160 calories
Third of all tin of beans - 131 calories

In total 345 calories. Sometimes instead of/ as well as beans I add red onion and spinach to my eggs. Fuels me right up, full of protein and keeps me very full until lunch time πŸ₯°

Low calorie, healthy dessert. πŸ₯°

Ingredients 50g porridge 2 Bananas Scoop of protein (optional) Handful of strawberries Protein yoghurt / fat free yoghurt A Meringue Feel free to add what ever fruit you would like.

Method
1) mash together 1 banana your porridge and your protein shake.

2) scoop it into a container creating a base layer.

3) layer some of your fruit on top of your porridge.

4) pour on your protein yoghurt or fat free yoghurt on top - I have gone for a chocolate protein yogurt. However fat free yoghurt have a lot less calories than this.

5) put more of your fruit on top of your yoghurt

6) crumble a Meringue on top 😊😊

7) pop it in the fridge to chill and set for 30 minutes or so.

This dessert I have made feeds two people and sits at just 224 calories per portion.

The scoop of protein powder is 94 calories so you can take that off your overall amount if you choose not to have protein powder. Also I added an extra banana to the decoration so you can really taste it. If you not a fan of this than just decorate with strawberries.

I've decided I am going to put up some great healthy meal and snack options up here. The biggest thing I find that people are struggling with is with their nutrition so I will put pictures of meals and also how many calories they are.

If you are someone who struggles with food why not have a go at some of the meal selections I pop up and see how you get on.

If you are unsure about calorie counting but would like to know- I promise its not as miserable as it sounds and we can find options to suit all.

Have a great weekend πŸ₯°

πŸ₯΅ QUICK FIX DIETS πŸ₯΅
"I just want to loose weight quickly - my friend told me about shakes. He lost like 11ibs in a week"
🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾🀞🏾
Of course, the first thing to be said about quick-fix "diets" is they can work.... for a while. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

πŸ’₯The first problem I have with them is that so many people need more help than this - how do we keep weight off for the the long term? In order to do this we need to find an eating and activity plan that we can imagine doing for ever.

πŸ’₯The second is quite often fad diets are not very flexible or interesting- they can have restrictive rules and you should just eat what you are told. We are not designed to eat the same things every day. We πŸ‡πŸ₯¨πŸ–πŸžπŸ₯¦πŸ³πŸΏπŸ¦€πŸ»

πŸ’₯Thirdly they tell is to stop eating certain foods. I mean how many people would be open to never eating chocolate 🍫or crisps or cheese πŸ§€ or potatoes πŸ₯” for the rest of their lives. Any diet that BAN foods and suggest we have bad or good foods I believe are incredible unhelpful.

πŸ’₯Several other points I could speak about in regards to fad "diets are: They are designed to be short term πŸ™ŒπŸΎ They quite often leave out activity or at least treat it as less important πŸ™ŒπŸΎ They quite often make you follow a fad theory of how to manage weight. πŸ™ŒπŸΎ

πŸ’›The bottom line is this, what is needed is to find a way of eating what you enjoy which includes a good balance of healthy foods, gives you good flexibility so favorite foods can be included and fits into your routine and lifestyle. It's important to know there isn't one perfect solution or one type of diet/approach for managing weight. πŸ’›

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯Remember most quick fix solutions are unhelpful for most people!!! πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

So OCTOBER CHALLANGE is here and this is what it looks like:

1) no alcohol 🍻 - what we don't take into consideration a lot of the time is how alcohol makes us loose our motivation, discipline and drive. Not only do we consume the calories of the alcohol that we drink, we then eat foods that we would not normally, and also do not feel like sticking to our training plan as we are fatigued. After a heavy Saturday night in can take me till Wednesday to get back on track.

2) stick to your calorie count πŸ“. Mine is 1768 (very easy to work out how many calories you should consume drop me a message I can let you know for free) I'm actually going to times mine by 7 (12,376) as I eat a lot less on a Monday to Wednesday then I do on a Friday and Saturday. - if your unsure what I mean by this again drop me a message and I cab help you for FREEπŸ—πŸ—πŸ—

3) stick to my daily step count πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈ Each persons step count is different!!!!! Mine rests at 10 thousand but that could be a hella lot for others. So track what you would do on a normal day, add a little onto that in order to push yourself and then get those steps in!! (Again feel free to message if your unsure!)

4) stick to my plan!πŸ“ƒ - at the start of each week I make sure that all my activity is planned in. I'm very visual as a person so to know I can tick it off or highlight when completed really sticks well for me. - see post later today!

5) each week have a new goal!!! πŸƒπŸ½β€β™€οΈ By hitting smaller goals and creating small habits that's how we achieve big things. So if our big goal for instance is I want to buy a brand new car our smaller goal maybe I would like to save Β£100 this week for my car. The same applies to.fitness. If you want to lift 100kg for instance your first weeks goal maybe to lift 10kg. If you want to loose a stone your weekly goal can be to loose 2ib ect ect. Alternatively it could to run a mile each day for the week, or start a new fitness class. Read 50 pages of a book!

If you are struggling to hit your goals or would like to know how I can help you, your mindset or you health than please let me know. I offer a variety of sustainable plans that really can change you life, with no added bu****it. I will tell you the truth about foods, and stomp out any myths!!!

Just for visuals here is my delicious breakfast πŸ˜‹ Porridge oats Chocolate soya milk My new favourite low fat chocolate spread

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯Do you have goals you need help reaching? πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I am back and ready to help!!! Whether it's assistance with:

❀ Nutrition
❀ Fitness
❀ Mind set

Or all of the above!!!!

I have plans to suit all both financially and practically to fit in around your current lifestyle.

My main goal is to bust the myths that come with a healthy lifestyle and teach a sustainable way to loose and keep the weight off without restricting calories to a ridiculous amount, banning certain food groups or making you exercise 10 times a day.

Keep an eye for my plans and packages but do feel free to shoot me a message in the mean time.

😬😬😬"I've messed up! I've put loads of weight back on and I've been an absolute pig!" 😬😬😬

I sat last night with my partner quite upset about how I was feeling about myself at the moment and it was at this point that I decided what the hell is crying going to do about it. I have decided to go back to basics and I'm going to share with you what those basics contain so you can also start your process!!!

The first thing I wanted to decide is what is the point of it all? What is my end goal? What is my aim? I've decided to come up with
Daily goals - keep to my calorie count (don't forget everyone's is different depending on age, gender, height, weight ect so if your following a plan make sure you have the correct information. Feel free to shoot me a message I can help with this!)

- complete a Mike Peele dance video on YouTube (20 minutes long, so much fun, gets you extra steps in and you forget your working out 😝😝)
Weekly goals - make sure I follow my gym plan and do the sessions I have planed for myself without coming up with little excuses not to go (I'm tired, I've ran out of time, it's too late, I've had a long day
Monthly goals - make sure I hit my step count every day for the month of June. Getting your steps in is a really under valued way of burning calories and quite often forgotten about!!!!

In order to keep my motivational levels up and reinstall my discipline having my goals written down, set and ready to go in a place I can tick off or write about has made my Monday a really positive one!!!!

Anyway I'm off to do my mike peele dance video πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰ - but any advice or more information about the plans I offer please shoot me a message

Lots of love
